Very good layout. Nice big open area which we used due to the wind blowing almost every day. Spent a lot of time on the pool table.

The two cottages are situated on the owner's property, offering a perfect balance of proximity for large families and personal space for individual guests. Established in the early 1960s, the property features a house built by my grandfather, showcasing solid construction with wooden beams made from the finest wood. Recently renovated, the cottages are nestled in nature, surrounded by beautiful mountains ideal for hiking, and just a five-minute walk from the beach. Each cottage includes its own hot tub and fireplaces to keep you warm on cold winter nights. Guests can also enjoy a fire pit for gatherings on calm, wind-free evenings. We provide bodyboards and surfboards upon request, along with a variety of games and a pool table for entertainment. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, with no street lights, enhancing the serene atmosphere. Pringle Bay is renowned for its rich fauna and flora and is known as a particularly safe town. **Please Note:** No day visitors are allowed on the property except for those who have booked, unless previously arranged with the host. Additional costs may apply and must be negotiated in advance. A breakage deposit is require before check-in. We invite long stay guests to work remotely. Guest cottages have fast internet speed at 80mbps. The cottages are solar powered with gas for stoves and hot water.

Pringle Bay is a serene and safe neighborhood, boasting a stunning coastline and rich history. Nestled in a valley with exquisite mountains, it exudes a unique energy. Located away from the city, Hermanus and Somerset West are approximately 50 minutes away in opposite directions. The area is teeming with birdlife and offers numerous walking and cycling trails. Baboons are a notable attraction in Pringle Bay, and more information about them can be found in the cottages. The local wildlife includes small buck, porcupines, mongooses, tortoises, and a variety of birds and other animals. If you're fortunate, you might spot whales in the bay from your cottage. Early risers may even catch a glimpse of otters foraging on the beach. For a delightful outdoor seafood and seaweed foraging experience, reach out to Carmen. For delicious eats, visit Lemon and Lime Deli and Restaurant. Enjoy breakfast and fine dining at The Book Club, or savor tapas at The Cork.
