This is an incredible house for R&R and anyone with families and kids! It's versatile with a luxurious upstairs where a couple can relax or the whole house for family fun. There is a jungle gym outside which my kids loved! The house had everything we needed in the kitchen and bedrooms. Everything is brand new and very well kept! Of course the best part for me was I had a choice to BBQ inside and outside! The deck was also amazing for my morning coffee and afternoon sundowners. And of course, its a 2min walk from the sea - wonderful! And Karen, our host, was super helpful - nothing was too much trouble! We will be back!

The house is beautiful and spacious with a fabulous fire place that saved us from the cold weather outside. The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything you could need. The hosts were very responsive and super accommodating. Really loved our stay and will be back.

We were here for the False Bay 50km Ultra Marathon.

We were here for the False Bay 50km Ultra Marathon. Pringle Bay is a charming village, peaceful and friendly and along the marathon route. Unfortunately, the weather was extremely windy the day before and gusty and wet on marathon day, which detracted from the event and did not present ideal conditions for a beach visit.

The location is stunning, Pringle Bay is a quiet, small town with some very useful places to buy provisions & several places to eat. The fish & chips, freshly cooked to order from Hake Away are super. Lemon & Lime Deli has an extensive range of foods & friendly, helpful staff. Their freshly made meat pies, sausage rolls, pastries etc are wonderful, the venison, steak & kidney, & lamb pies were full of scrumptious meat. The beach is very inviting, lovely sand to walk along with lots of rockpools to explore. One lunchtime we even watched a whale breaching out in the bay. We were staying right on the water's edge & walked easily to the village daily for provisions, the baboons were fully controlled by baboon patrollers. We felt very safe in this quiet, friendly place.

It is a very peaceful village with a lovely beach.

It is a very peaceful village with a lovely beach. I was there off season which was perfect as coming in summer must be hectic. Met very helpful people from the pharmacy, the small supermarket and the laundry lady. Excellent restaurant - The Cork Eatery! Very nice owner and very good food. Enjoyed a lovely meal. Beach is beautiful but I may have gone to the wrong entrance as a bit of a trek to the sea but well worth it. Big plus - pet friendly area.

I had a good evening meal in the small business area, Cork and FLY??. Service was great and so was the wine , good value. I enjoyed the wuiet of my mid week stay. a pity about the damage on the mountains form the Fire in Feb, but the vegetation will recover. It always does.

Pringle Bay is beautiful with the sea and lagoon and beautiful mountains. We spent alot of time on the beach (not main) but nearer towards the lagoon. As dog owners we liked the fact that the beach allows dogs and had alot of locals walking their dogs. The many restaurants/deli/chemist/ mini mark is great as you don't need to leave the area. Pringle Bay is known for baboons so can be a problem especially during the busy season when so many people are around. We only encountered 1 old male baboon who was sitting on the side of the road and not a threat at all.

The view was amazing.

The view was amazing. I enjoyed seeing the lighthouse from the beach. We got lucky with some amazing rainbows after a storm. There were gorgeous stars. We saw a lot of local birds and a mongoose. We ate at Fynbos and it was great! There are many interesting restaurants and quaint shops that I would like to explore more. We had a car, so it was easy to drive around the area. It was a treat to visit Pringle Bay. Would definitely visit again.

Moon River House is a wonderful place to stay in Pringle Bay and we couldn’t recommend it more. A peaceful oasis the shortest of walks (or kayak) to the beach. The house itself, its location and amenities are wonderful, while Ken has paid attention to the small details that make it stand out (you don’t see many places keep stock of detergent for the dishwasher, laundry detergent, firelighters and matches for example). The laundry is soft and clean, the beds are comfortable. We are definitely going to go back!

The apartment has everything you could possibly need to make your stay feel like home, when you’re not out exploring. It is exceptionally clean, with a blend of modern and antique touches which give it a cozy, and welcoming feel. Above all it is safe. It is situated close to the sea with excellent views of the sunset. The Pringle Bay main beach is not very far if you’re up for a walk. I did not require much assistance since the property contacted me via booking.com with all the necessary information.

An amazing house in the quiet area of Pringle Bay, yet close enough to town centre and a walk to the shops. This house is even more perfect in person. The “little” splash pool is a great addition for the hot days. It has everything you may need for your stay.
