Melkbos Moments started as an idea, to bring vistors to our beautiful West Coast Village and share our passion with travellers from any place in the world and show them what our " West Coast Hospitality" is all about. For the weary traveller, this will be the ideal place to catch up with yourself, enjoy the seaside village life style and become part of the locals. For the Sport enthusiast there is plenty to do from early morning till sunset. Your sport equipment can safely be stored on the property, but at own risk. Melkbos Moments will provide you with a unique self catering unit which will be serviced once a week (Tuesdays or Fridays)with clean bedding and towls. A Gas BBQ is available on request to enjoy a lamb chop, steak or fresh fish in real South African tradition. I am a part time photographer and love to be active.We love to travel, see new places and make new friends accross the globe. We are passionate to explore foreign cities, its people and food. We also love to play tourist in our own City and Country and explore our own secret hideaways. In our travels our needs are basic but we have a high standard when it comes to where we stay. We've used our own experiences to create a space at Melkbos Moments where any traveller will feel welcome, enjoying all the little luxuries that are necessary for a pleasant stay, but without costing a fortune.

Melkbos Moments are close to all the highways and byways which can take you to the popular wine estates, the V&A Waterfront a popular tourist attraction. For the enthusiastic golfer the Atlantic Beach Golf estate is a mere 5 minutes from Melkbos Moments. The Koeberg Nature Reserve is 5 km from us, it has great Mountain Bike Trails as well as some of the nearby Wine Estates. There is great surf in Melkbosstrand for the keen surfer or bodyboarder, when the south Easter is pumping it becomes the mecca for the Kite Surfers and we are 5km from all the kitesurfing hot spots , i.e. Blaauwberg Beach, Milnerton and Haak gat where the Wind Surfers take on the wind and the ocean. We have a long stretch of white sandy beach which is about 4 km long, for a great stroll or a jog. The Myciti Bus Station is 1,5km from us. You can hop on the bus and will be able to travel to many of the sightseeing and tourist attractions in and around Cape Town. Places like Table Mountain, The V&A Waterfront, Houtbay, Clifton, Camps Bay Beach, Muizenberg Beach and many more place to explore. We also have a few world class Wine Estates on our doorstep and is worth the while to explore and taste their wines.
