Located a stone’s throw from the beach, Gecko House in Pringle Bay is a modern, beautifully designed house that has spectacular views of the beach and the bay. Offering luxury accommodation, Gecko House is a perfect holiday destination for a large family or group of friends with children looking to get away. Situated directly on the beachfront / sand dunes and fairly close to the warm water swimming lagoon. Well equipped with all non-food essentials for up to 12 people. Infant cot available at no charge. Double garage and additional parking for two more cars behind sliding gate. Less than 90 minutes drive from Cape Town city centre, Gecko House has been accepting guests for over a decade. The house is fully equipped to a high standard for a complete vacation on the beach with all essentials. Amazing ocean views from the house, complete with a roof deck for a 360 degree panorama of Pringle Bay, the surrounding Overberg mountains and the Atlantic ocean.
Situated in a World Heritage site, Pringle Bay is a delightful seaside village, surrounded by the beautiful Overberg mountains and boasting a 1,4km long main beach. Gecko House is situated close to the northern end of the beach with easy access to the warm water lagoon where the Buffels River empties into the ocean – a perfect place for a dip in the water and with rocks and streams for children to play on/in. If you visit during the months of June to November you may be lucky enough to see whales and there is a well-known Jackass penguin colony in nearby Betty’s Bay. Shark cage diving is available in Gansbaai. The Pringle Bay village offers numerous restaurants, cafes, grocery stores and takeaway outlets, all within only 1km from Gecko House.
