We are the largest building in Betty's Bay with panoramic sea views from every room. We are located directly on the famous Clarence Drive (R44) with the sea to our south and the mountains right behind us.

Your British hosts Laura and David have lived in Betty's Bay since 2007 and long to share their passion for this rural idyll with you. Laura is a volunteer at the local Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre and David is reconnecting with his passion for home cooking after running a restaurant for 17 years. They have adopted an unadoptable dog, who has been with them a year even though she is 9 years old and who is in the process of being rehabilitated herself after years of abuse. You may see her, a little red terrier cross, but she is extremely fearful and therefore at this time (September 2025) not at all friendly with strangers.....

Jack's is located within 2 minutes walking distance of the village centre where the Post Office, pub, hairdresser and laundry are located as well as other restaurants and coffee shops. We are within a few steps walking distance of the Village Centre where you can find restaurants, small shops and the local pub. It's a gentle stroll 500m to the main beach and just 30 minutes on the coastal footpath to the penguin colony at Stony Point. We are 300m meters away from access to the hiking trails of the Kogelberg Biosphere. Betty's Bay is mostly a sleepy village geared to outdoor pursuits of all sorts if that's your thing but what it does best is give you permission to relax and reconnect with yourself.
