House (sleeps 6): This luxury sea front holiday home has 3 bedrooms. A main en-suite bedroom with expansive sea views. The remaining two large bedrooms, one with a sea view, share a bathroom with a bath and shower. Open plan kitchen, fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge and freezer. There is a living area with TV, WiFi, pub, fireplace and patio with built in braai (barbeque). Cottage (sleeps 4, max 6): A self contained cottage is situated behind the house with 2 bedrooms and a sleeper couch in the lounge. Should the house & cottage be let together, the main house has crockery & cutlery for 12 guests. Off street parking, a double garage and security alarm. Large Garden. Additional braai area in the garden with great sea views. Walking distance to Jocks Bay beach (900m). No loadshedding: backup power, gas geysers, gas cylinder for cooking plus kettle, Weber and 4 rechargeable lights and a coffee plunger available.
There are a number of long sandy beaches within walking distance or a short drive. Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens, situated within the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, offers exceptional birding and hiking (Leopard's Gorge Trail or up to Disakloof Waterfall) in the largest floral kingdom in the world and known locally as “fynbos’. These gardens are an easy 1km stroll from Jock’s Place and offer a serene and peaceful alternative, should one tire of the sea and sun.
