Situated in a secluded hamlet on the wild and beautiful Cape south coast about an hour from Cape Town, this character house, set in the indigenous 'fynbos' is the perfect romantic retreat. A comfortable main bedroom {en-Suite} with expansive lounge, inclusive of fireplace and decks facing east and west, make this a wonderful hideaway. Beautiful mountain views, great hiking and mountain biking options and of course the secluded and pristine Pringle Bay Beach beckons. The space is full of character and charm. The main bedroom and bathroom are open-plan. And so it goes without saying that couples should know each other rather well! On the ground floor is a second large room housing a double bed or a bunk bed for children, including a lovely private bath and separate guest toilet. The kitchen table holds many a good story and makes for wonderful meal times. The outdoor barbecue "Braai" boma is secluded from wind and makes for a magical night under the stars, locked into good conversation. There is an arty outdoor (hot) shower to rinse off after your day at the beach. We don't live in Pringle but you'll be met by our key holder, Rita. She'll show you what's what at the house. The house is in the cul de sac of Diana Road. Rita lives a few houses away, at #1576 Diana Road. We will send you directions to Rita's house (about 3 houses away). Please let us know your eta. Pringle Bay is a small coastal village in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, in South Africa. It is situated at the foot of Hangklip. The town and surrounds are part of the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO Heritage Site. There are a myriad of trails and routes to explore the abundant flora and wild southern Cape.
