Welcome to our private tranquil guest suite with separate entrance in the tourist destination of Hout Bay. Hout Bay is a great base from which to explore the cape peninsula. The major Cape Town tourist attractions and restaurants are all within easy reach. We offer a separate entrance, comfortable bedroom, desk space, cable tv, WiFi, en suite bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. Small private patio and secure parking on the property. Although there is no kitchen, tea and coffee facilities and a bar fridge are provided in the room. The decor is simple but tasteful and the bathroom is fully equiped with shampoo,, body wash, towels and toilet paper. There are extra towels and blankets available. There is safe parking on the property. It is also ideal for business travelers, being only 30 minutes from the city by car - 45 minutes during peak hours. We look forward to welcoming you.

I have been hosting guests since January 2017 and I'm a Superhost on a similar platform. My daughter and I enjoy meeting new people, both local and from other parts of the world. We are easy going and funloving. My hosting style is to give my guests privacy but be available to answer questions or help. My hobby is oil painting and I have a studio at home.

Hout Bay has a safe swimming beach which is ideal for paddle boarding and canoeing. Equipment can be hired from the local surf shop. If youre lucky you might see dolphins in the bay. The village offers many shopping and dining opportunities and is 15 minutes from the Constantia Valley wine route, the famous Chapmans Peak drive, the busy Camps Bay beach and restaurant strip and Table Mountain cable station, forest hikes and more! Hout Bay has its own working harbor with a buzzing, vibrant market over the weekends offering food, live music and local art and gifts. Fun things that we like to do : Takeaway fish and chips in the harbour, an early morning walk on Hout Bay beach, or Landudno beach, listen to live music at the Bay Harbour Market. Take a drive up Chapman’s peak to one of the many lookout points and watch the sun set. Drive over Chapman’s peak to Simonstown, Cape Point nature reserve and visit picturesque Kalk Bay on your way home. If you enjoy running to keep fit, join the Park Run with the locals on a Saturday morning.
