Lovely, light & airy studio apartment with separate entrance, flat screen TV/Netflix Streeming services, and Wi-Fi. There is a private garden with deck, garden furniture, and barbecue in the quiet and lovely part of Hout Bay. It's a studio apartment with an open plan kitchenette. Suitable for 2 adults, suits couples or friends. We have a very comfortable king-size bed with hotel quality linen. The headboard is stretched through the sleeping area, and the future wall above is decorated with the beautiful imported wallpaper. The decor is modern eclectic. The kitchenette is equipped with two plate gas stove and all necessary utensils. There is a Nespresso coffee machine, an electric kettle, bar fridge, toaster and microwave oven, and other kitchen necessities. There is an air conditioning unit with a cool/heat set. There is also an electric fen available. The bathroom is all white and modern with a walk- in rain shower. Guests access the property through a communal gate. The entrance to the studio apartment is separate from the main house. On street parking is available on the raised pavement along the property wall. Above all, we want our guests to fill relax and right at home.
Prior to retirement, my professional background was based on management in one of SA top fashion retailers. This gave me invaluable exposure to customer service. My husband Andre is a qualify Tour Guide and will be happy to share information about Hout Bay and Cape Town. We have been married since forever, arriving from Europe with 2 young children in the early 80's, making South Africa our home ever since. We moved to Hout Bay, Cape Town, and fully renovated our property. My daughter and her family also live in Hout Bay, my grandchildren visit me on a regular basis. I'm around the house most of the time and happy to help our guests with any queries, but also value your privacy and peacefulness while staying at our Studio. The residing cat's name is Kitka, she is very shy and peace loving.
Hout Bay is a cute community with people from all walks of life mingling together. It is safe, but street smarts are advisable. There are lots to see and do within walking distance. We are happy to recommend activities based on your preferences. There are some great attractions within walking distance from our home - Hout Bay beach, shopping centres, restaurants like our favourite "Mariners Wharf ", harbour and markets in the area. A true paradise for holidaymakers. We are a short walk to the bus stop for the Open-top Sightseeing Tour Bus situated at Mariners Wharf in the Hout Bay Harbour. There is also an opportunity to do a great township tour at Imizamo Yethu Township located on the other side of Hout Bay.
