The Dunes on Mile 16 is a well-loved home in the sought-a7er Mile 16 Private Beach Estate. The house is well located in a quiet, established street and a mere 50m walk to the beautiful Mile 16 beach and .8km or .49 Miles from the main swimming beach. This 3-bedroom house has a sleeping capacity of 6 guests. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, his and hers basin, and toilet. The second bedroom has two single beds that can be made into a king -size bed if requested and the third bedroom a double-size bed. These rooms share the use of a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. All linen is provided, including bath and beach towels. The living area is open plan to the kitchen and is furnished with comfy couches and a smart TV with access to Premium DSTV and free uncapped Wi-Fi. Guests can log in to their own Netflix , Disney or Amazon Prime accounts. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, air-fryer, basic crockery, and cutlery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. It features an 8-seater dining table where guests can enjoy their meals. In addition the house spoils with a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. There is a covered patio for entertainment, with a built -in braai and a beautiful fenced in splash -pool for those hot summer days. Please note that there is only parking for two cars on the premises. The house is protected with an alarm system and a safe for your personal items.

Yzerfontein is known for its unique 16 Mile Beach, the longest uninterrupted sandy beach on the South African coastline, stretching North of the main beach, to the West Coast National Park which borders the town. Natural attractions here include the 16 Mile Beach, the Bokbaaivygie flower trail and the Schaapeiland Trail along the coast, with its astonishing views over the Atlantic Ocean and occasional sightings of whales. Fishermen angle from the beach and the rocks, and collect mussels and catch crayfish. The small-craft harbour allows the launching of boats and jet skis, while the bay is popular for bodyboarders and kite-surfing, one of the many activities to do in this area. The house is within walking distance of all the local favourites and sites that Yzerfontein has on offer. The area is perfect for long bike rides, hikes along the 16 mile beach ,walks along the paths by the sea, stops at the local brewery (Yzer Brew), Rosemead artisanal bakery, many coffee shops and good restaurants.
