The setting by the dam is Idyllic with a constant stream of birds and animals. The beds are very comfortable and the outdoor shower and large (indoor) bath are a real treat. The breakfast box and welcome box were more than adequate.

This stay was unplanned and booked last minute. And we didn´t regret it! Tasty food, great wine and a lodge with a view over the game farm. The 2 game tours (evening and morning) ,included into the room rate, are fascinating. We saw all big 5, except leopard, but therefore Cheetahs on the hunt.

What a gem on the Garden route. Everything was tastefully done and of quality.I loved the quiet in nature. Thanks for all the personal touches John was friendly and helpfull. The hosts checked in on me as a solo female guest . , which was much appreciated. The hot tub was heavenly.

We extended our stay. So, we stayed in two different rooms and both were amazing…Upkeep, cleanliness, and comfort. The owner Paul welcomed us onto the property and was very helpful, kind and made us feel at home. The hiking trail nearby was nice…we planned to hike an easy trail to the waterfall, however, my girlfriend took a wrong turn and took me for a 1 Hour hike up a mountain. For me, it was tuff but worth the climb. Check it out!

Fantastic, Lustine and the family were just lovely, the cottages super modern with all amenities. Ludwig, the father, incredibly kind and knowledgeable about the animals. The game drive was fantastic!
