My husband and I had an incredible time spending nine wonderful nights at The Promenade in Puducherry, India. We absolutely loved waking up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Bay of Bengal. Our evenings were filled with delightful strolls along the promenade, and we spent our mornings exploring the charming churches, temples, and cafes that dotted the area. In the afternoons, we indulged in relaxing swims in the pool. The room we stayed in was a true gem. It was cool and comfortable, with a beautiful window and Juliet balcony that offered a stunning view of the ocean. The staff at The Promenade were exceptional. We want to express our deepest gratitude to Ms. Pritti in the restaurants, Ms. Soundarya with housekeeping, and Mr. Tara Babu at the front desk. Their attention to detail and hospitality made our stay truly memorable. The restaurants at The Promenade were a culinary delight. They offered a delightful fusion of franchise and Tamil flavors, and we thoroughly enjoyed sharing the delicious meals. We highly recommend staying at The Promenade on Rock Beach. It’s an unforgettable experience that we will cherish forever.

The location was perfect - walkable distance to all the best cafes and right on the rock beach! The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly.

Excellent location just blocks from the beach and perfect for exploring all of white town on foot! Our room was beautiful clean and full of old world charm. A highlight was definitely swimming at the rooftop pool and taking in the sights. Staff was friendly and attentive to all our needs. Breakfast was basic but good, if you're looking for gourmet breakfast there are many options all around but the free breakfast was just great for our needs.

Love the room with the balcony I think it’s the largest one, and it’s my 3rd time here. Very very good staff and hospitality and the food is superb. Good location too. My go to place in pondi, would not pick any other space in the city but this.

Is next to the beach. Very beautiful and clean room. Staff is so nice, they helped us booking a taxi.

The rooms are huge and very well maintained. Everything is at the right place and all facilities available. Absolutely loved everything Ramesh the manager has been very cordial and made us extremely comfortable.

The location of the hotel was just perfect for our girls gang. Beach, cafes, clubs, French colony, all were walking distance. The staff was excellent, arranged auto rickshaw n car for our commute. Breakfast was excellent.

An oasis in the madness of India. Located perfectly for access to white town and the larger area of Pudducherry. Decorated to a high standard with friendly staff. Great communication. The property is easy to find.

This was a great place to stay in Pondicherry. Convenient location that is close to the beach and other attractions. The recently refurbished rooms were very modern, clean and quiet with working a/c unit and ceiling fan. I felt very comfortable here. The owner/manager, Marc, was very kind and also helped me to organize a few things for my trip. One of the best things here was a guided tour to Auroville and some of the surrounding areas that was hosted by the owner's wife, Leela. This was truly one of the highlights of my trip to South India so far! The price was completely reasonable for a half-day trip and I learned a lot about Auroville. I can highly recommend doing this!
