Great location, being a short walk from Hoan Kiem lake & the Old Quarter, There are plenty of restaurants in the area & a convenience store around the corner.

The location of the hotel is closed to lot of small restaurant, coffee shop and massage places. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The rooms are very clean and spacious. Kan was very supportive as a host and accommodated us and our bags after our checkout times. The hotel is in the French Quarter and center of everything easy accessible. Definitely coming back in the future again!!

Great location. Walkable to the Old Town and Ho Hoan Kiem. Surrounded by clean streets and sidewalks with vast variety of traditional Vietnamese restaurants and fresh tropical fruits stands. Clean and fresh smell room. Wonderful and attentive staffs. Delicious and well served breakfast, though it can be quite crowded in that small serving area.

The staff were excellent. So welcoming and attentive. Family suite was large, clean and comfortable. Would recommend to all.

The location was central. Points of interests were within walking distance. It was safe, quiet and a bit fancy as it is located in the French Quarter part of town. Breakfast was good and they serve variety of food applicable to vegetarians, too! There was a convenient store at the corner where we bought water and some snacks before coming back to the hotel. There were also 2 cute cafes along the same street. French Opera House is about 8-10 minute leisure walk, Hoan Kiem Lake about the same distance, but opposite way. Newly opened Uniqlo by the Lake about 10 minutes, high end shops like Richard Mille, Bottega, Christian Dior, Loius Vuitton, Prada all housed in the same location, about 8 minutes walk. St. Joseph Cathedral about 10-12 minutes leisure walk. Overall, very satisfied with our stay here! WiFi worked perfectly during our stay as well! Ms. Chip, the front desk concierge, explained the location well. She provided some tips on where to go, what to do and where to eat. The other staff members always greet us with a smile, always ready to help and we truly appreciated that.

Property was clean and friendly staff. Dinh Lee and Huyen were always accommodating for any request. Breakfast was really good as well in the morning and a great way to start the day. Price was also great!

Emissary Hotel was a great property in the heart of the old quarter. Great location by the lake; super staff - they made my stay so seamless and comfortable. The rooms are great, bathrooms are well appointed, breakfast spread is good, coffee is also good! I had an exceptional stay at this hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter.Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hanoi and I'm sure I will stay in this hotel if I visit Hanoi again.

The best hotel in Vietnam. The most communicative, helpful and friendly staff. You feel like at home. Any issues (in general there is no issue with this awesome hotel) can be addressed by Ja Cosmo team immediately and effectively. Especially Brian is the key player. He can be helpful in all matters. Michael is amazing guy. They are professionals. I recommend to take tour by Ja Cosmo as well. Worth every penny. My next stay in Ha Noi is gonna be at Ja Cosmo surely.

Staff, location, and cleanliness.

The property was very nice, stuff was excellent and very helpful. We stayed here only for one night but we had a very good time in here. Location is good, a lot of roof top bars in the area, as well as good places to eat.

The warm, kind, smiley, helpful staff is the highlight! 🥰 I want to thank Jimmy from the travel information desk; he helped contact Grab Taxi and found the cell phone of my sister, who lost her phone in the Grab taxi. Jimmy also recommended a great Halong Bay cruise tour for us. Other staff, e.g. Violet, and Jenny, are also lovely.

Spacious Rooms and it is in the middle of Old Qtr area. 7/11 30seconds from hotel. Lake 1 minute away. Currency exchange and other major attractions are on walkable distance. Staff let me check in at 3.30 AM. And every staff member was no nice and ready to help. They also provide Tour plans for Sapa Halong and Ninh Bin.
