Novotel Hamburg City Alster is a very good option if you’re looking for a good place to stay with a family while exploring Hamburg. Easy to access by car and subway, and the staff gives excellent service. Make sure to include the breakfast buffet, it was great.

This hotel was everything you can expect from Novotel. Nice rooms and a good breakfast. The location is very good, you can easily walk to the busier side of Hamburg and there are some good restaurants within a 10 minute walk. It was just a perfectly fine hotel, nothing special. But good and descent like you can expect from the Novotel hotels. Can't really complain about anything.

Novotel in Hamburg met absolutely all expectations. We had a smooth arrival, stay and departure. Breakfast was superb, the beds were really comfortable and pleasant. We came for the Half Marathon and the hotel staff allowed us to shower afterwards there, even though we had to leave the keys earlier on that day. Location was also great, really well connected.
