A beautiful hotel with fantastic old world decor, high ceilings and sumptuous furnishings. The view from the terrace was spectacular. The staff were wonderful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly, welcoming, responsive owners and staff. Great breakfast. We had dinner in the restaurant, which serves both Indian and British fare (we ordered from the Indian food menu), and it was delicious.

Everything was great, wish we had booked another night! Will definitely stay again the next time we're in the area.

The whole experience was excellent. Greeted cheerfully and as our room was ready we were able to access the room early. The room was very clean and pleasant. The facilities were spot on. We loved the view from the window of the river. It was less than 5 mins walk to the shops and restaurants. Perfect

Above and beyond our expectation, accurate photos, beautiful, clean, fairyland-like garden, easy to use kitchen , very friendly for family with children. The host brought the kids rocks to paint and Monopoly to play, and a tent for kids in the garden, and hot chocolate and coffee

Homely, quiet, spacious, nice and helpful owners, good generous breakfast. You’d need a car to reach the forest if Dean and Wye valley.

Close to several major grocery stores, so this was a great location if a car is not available. We did have a car hire and had parking on site at the rear of the property. The bathrooms (two of them) were great to have. The bathroom upstairs in the master's bedroom was lovely with a huge tub. The lower bathroom was nice as well with a shower. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a combination washer/dryer on site with good drying racks as the unit did not completely dry the clothes. We loved the location as we walked everywhere in town and down to the river Wye. It was also a great location for day trips. It had an easy deposit mechanism in place as well with responsive service. The living room was nice, the internet was great, and the televisions were in every room. The beds were not as comfy as some but not bad. Both bedrooms had good accommodations.

Beautiful garden and cosy, comfortable accommodation. Syd was a welcoming host and we found his reccomendations very helpful.

Wonderful 2 night Stay. Beautifully decorated in keeping with Georgian period. Spotlessly clean. Ideal location just few minutes stroll to high street and short walk to river Wye. Exceptional value. Lovely welcoming host Syd very knowledgeable about the buildings history and local knowledge. Would highly recommend to traveller's wanting a peaceful location in Ross.
