Definitely my reason to return to Clarens.

For about 24 years, we have been visiting Clarens annually. One of our best experiences was at Gypsy Guesthouse. The friendly reception, neat colourful and well-equipped rooms, and owners (Shane) who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. When we had to leave earlier due to illness and our teenagers wanted to stay longer, an extra free day was offered out of empathy for them. We will certainly want the privilege of staying at Gypsy Guesthouse again; we can recommend it with confidence.

This guesthouse is situated in beautiful surroundings,against a backdrop of mountains and nature reserve. Our hosts, Andre and Rina were friendly and welcoming and we were treated to delicious breakfast each morning. Lovely big, comfortable bed and view from patio pretty and tranquil. We will definately be coming back.

Karel was awesome. The house was lovely, warm, spacious and beautiful. We appreciated the fact all the bedroooms and working electric blankets and heaters , two bathrooms had heaters, there is an aircon and a fireplace in the spacious sitting room, kitchen had all that we needed and more. Also appreciated the firewood and tea and coffee supplier we found there. The mountain view was magnificent 👌 We would love to visit the place again in summer, may maybe they should consider adding a pool, it would be a lovely addition during the summer day. There is truly nothing that we did not like.

Very clean, private and comfortable!

About the 4th time stayed at this home - and will definitely stay again in future. Excellent location close to central square- all within walking distance. Home is well equipped and spacious lounge / dining room. Three of the four bedrooms have on-suites, so have good privacy.

Beautiful location on a quiet farm and surrounds. Breakfast was fantastic and watching the little donkey's, Lama's walking past in the morning was magical. Our two doggies loved every minute of their stay, with lots of exploring. Hannetji was very hospitable and made us feel at home.

We really enjoyed the property. A vintage and clean cottage in a very beautiful village.

The apartment is clean, good size and cozy. Visiting in July when it’s winter, it is very thoughtful of the owner to have the beddings heated, as well as a heater in the bedroom, because it can be very cold. And they is wifi available. The views are amazing!

We missed the property initially as it was actually in a road that lead off from the "address" road- maybe there should be extra directions. It was comfortable with wifi and tv and undercover parking and a very nice microwave. There was nice furniture and artwork in the unit. It was self catering so we had use of the whole unit while we were there . We had electricity and hot water.
