AustraliaThe location was very convenient, only one or two streets away from the meeting points for RealNZ and Southern Discoveries cruises, and also very close to the information centre. The property had both a washing machine and dryer, and the kitchen was fully equipped so we could cook our own meals. On the day of check-in, the host also messaged to make sure everything was going well. Thank you — I really enjoyed my stay!

Cottage clean and comfortable with all we needed for our three night stay. Excellent location on edge of town with views across to the mountains. Easy five minute drive into centre of town. Great place to stay. Highly recommended.

Location, easy walk into main area and restaurants. Room was well laid out with a lot of room for 4 adults. Proprietors were friendly, helpful and accommodating especially as we were running late for check in. Would recommend Alpine View Motel to anyone wanting a clean and comfortable place to stay.

There isn’t one little thing in Mayflower Cottage that hasn’t been thoughtfully provided. It’s tasteful and beautifully decorated. What a gem of a cottage. It felt like home. Great location for everything we wanted to do and Te Anau itself was unexpectedly charming. My favourite place to stay on our tour of NZ. To top it off Dianne was so kind and helpful and gave us some great info for Fjordland trips! Hope to come back one day!

The rooms are spacious, clean, you get everything you need and a well equipped kitchen. The rooms might look a bit outdated, but they have all one needs. The location is 2-3min from the lake and 7-8min from the city centre (walking distance). The manager was the most welcoming host we have encountered in NZ, thank you for being so nice and kind. Also, the playground was much appreciated by our daughter.

We had a lovely stay. As a backpacker / hostel style place we were really pleasantly surprised by how lovely our private double room was - it felt like an upscale hotel room! We had a fantastic view of the lake whilst the room itself was incredibly spacious. It's also a great location, right in the centre and within easy walking distance of all the town's amenities.

Great location. Reasonably priced. Given milk for tea on arrival. Great place to stay on route to Milford Sound. Walking distance to bar and restaurant.

Awesome place to stay (we were in Family Cabin #51, 3 bedroom) Ample room for us all, (2 Adults & 2 Teenage Kids), USB Charges are part of the wall plugs so no need for charinging heads. Super clean & comfortable unit, very modern kitchen & 2 very modern bathrooms with heated tile floors & towel rails, all the beds were great to sleep in. Great location close to town & tourist hotspots, staff were great to talk to about where to eat etc. 5 Stars from us & would certainly return there for another stay, thanks team.
