Amazing location surrounded by peace and nature. Our host Helen was so welcoming and graciously provided us with a very comfortable and cosy place to stay and relax. The freshly baked loaf of bread was a treat too. Highly recommend a stay here for a young family with kids.

A really lovely place to stay in a spectacular location and great vibe. We stayed in the dorm and it was very cosy and comfortable. The kitchen area was well stocked, although it was maybe a bit small for purpose at peak times. The bathrooms were very clean. The location is amazing, a quiet village away with a beauiful beach lake looking out over he fiords.

The room was generally comfortable and of a good size. It was clean and the location was good with easy access to the lake and to the downtown area. The staff were friendly as well.

Cottage clean and comfortable with all we needed for our three night stay. Excellent location on edge of town with views across to the mountains. Easy five minute drive into centre of town. Great place to stay. Highly recommended.

There isn’t one little thing in Mayflower Cottage that hasn’t been thoughtfully provided. It’s tasteful and beautifully decorated. What a gem of a cottage. It felt like home. Great location for everything we wanted to do and Te Anau itself was unexpectedly charming. My favourite place to stay on our tour of NZ. To top it off Dianne was so kind and helpful and gave us some great info for Fjordland trips! Hope to come back one day!

Awesome place to stay (we were in Family Cabin #51, 3 bedroom) Ample room for us all, (2 Adults & 2 Teenage Kids), USB Charges are part of the wall plugs so no need for charinging heads. Super clean & comfortable unit, very modern kitchen & 2 very modern bathrooms with heated tile floors & towel rails, all the beds were great to sleep in. Great location close to town & tourist hotspots, staff were great to talk to about where to eat etc. 5 Stars from us & would certainly return there for another stay, thanks team.

Even though the hotel reception and restaurant building is under construction, we had great communications from the hotel explaining everything and offering us a meal in our chalet instead of the restaurant. The food was delicious! The breakfast was lovely in our room too. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was great for access to the Milford Sound tours. There are friendly Kea who come to say hello too! Beautiful view from our chalet couldn't have a price on it. Lovely stay all in all.

Very helpful manager, received free upgrade. Perfect place to stay in on returning from Milford Sounds, had everything we needed. Restaurant also has great tasty food.
