The property is bio organic theme property and it’s truly is from the floor and bed in your room to the very little snack in the afternoon. Morning breakfast it’s a performance you can have veggies fruits local produce, fresh squeezed juices minerals and vitamines offered by hotel, yogurt, cheeses, eggs prepared per order, smoked salmons and other goodies that you can’t even imagine. Dinner is a three course dinner with excellent presentation and tastes and you have three choices for the main entree and two choices for the dessert (something to die for). And you can have all three choices even two times if you like 😁. I’m not even mentioning a buffet that has veggies fruits local produces cheeses buratta and others that I can’t even have memories of. Conclusion: bio hotel with organic produce’s and quality food, comfort for your body and soul. They have three saunas, yoga classes in the morning, beautiful gym and two swimming pool inside and outside. Staff were very helpful.

The Hohen Tauren National Park is awesome.

The Hohen Tauren National Park is awesome. Great natural history interpretation and spectacular scenery. Only problem is that it is to a large degree marketed as driving cruise and there are a lot of fast motorcycles and cars rushing through not appreciating the scenery. It feels like someone is always breathing down your neck. The fast drivers are pushy and aggressive!

Saalbach Hinterglemm skiing is superb, long blue/red runs and a great integrated lift system which involves little or no poleing. Apres ski is lively and noisy and can be varied depending on what you are looking for. Expensive to eat out and some bars are just ripping you off with the cost of shorts.

Great to get a summer pass that included free bus travel to various local hikes/cable cars and the lifts were free also with the pass, like the bus service. It was great not to use our car. The twon is cute and clean. A little small.

Piesendorf is a charming village within the immediate surrounds of Zell am See. You can leave the car behind and reach all places of interest by public transport. We were impressed with the public amenities in the village such as the playgrounds and the wonderful swimming pool. But what impressed us most was the open friendliness of the locals.

Great for family vacation.

Great for family vacation. Lot of playgrounds and other attractions. Free public transport for guests. We visit (with great success): - Schmidolin’s Adventure World on Schittenhöhe, - Wildpark Ferleiten, - Grossglockner High Alpine Road, and a bit further away: - Krimmel Watterfalls, - Slide Path in the Wildkogel, - Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein.

Leogang is a hidden gem attached to the Skicircus Saalbach.

Leogang is a hidden gem attached to the Skicircus Saalbach. We come to Leogang (Rain) for the easy connection to this massive ski area, without the crowds or noise of Saalbach. The ski runs down to Leogang itself are among the best in this area, with #206 being a great cruising blue with unexpectedly excellent snow late in the day when everything else was slush, and lots of fun short reds and blues for the weak-legged at the top of Asitz. Leogang village is quite spread out between the Sonnrain/Leogang/Rosental area (a small village with a supermarket and bakery), Rain (a small hamlet with a massive hotel, attached restaurant and little else), and... whatever the bottom of the Asitzbahn is called - still Leogang? We came via train, and used the train/bus to get around, but be aware Leogang station is a 25 minute walk from anywhere useful. Rain has a large hotel and not a lot else. We did need to go on hour-round-trip walks to get to the supermarket in Leogang proper. That was fine, because we were here for the skiing and the access to the skiing is great. If you're looking for a very quiet, upmarket environment with great skiing access, Rain is the place to stay. If you want more convenience, check out either Leogang itself (more stuff, but you'll be bussing to the lifts if the morning) or the Asitzbahn area (a bit more to do than Rain, but no station).

Mittersill surprised us positively with its good services.

Mittersill surprised us positively with its good services. Billa plus had an excellent variety of vegan products to choose from. The local asian restaurant also had some vegan options. Sympathetic little town that we would have liked to get to know better, but during our short visit we focused on the surrounding nature attractions (Hintersee, Krimml waterfalls, Umbaltal waterfalls).

Great location, less than an hour bus ride from Salzburg...

Great location, less than an hour bus ride from Salzburg Airport. The bus collects from outside the airport. Exit the airport, cross the parking to the busses, bus stop H. Once in Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer there are local busses to Zell AMsee, Bike Park Leogang and plenty more. The area it self has a big Spar opposite the bus area, the people are very friendly and you are surounded by outstanding beauty.

The chalet was beautiful, the surrounding was very nice,...

The chalet was beautiful, the surrounding was very nice, everything close to ski trails-easy to go with bus or electric train to gondola and you can come with ski back to the chalet. House is designed with are lot of taste, warm ,clean and homy.
