I stayed at Lake Park Hotel for two nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was excellent, and the boat ride organized by the hotel was a highlight—well worth the money! The rooms were comfortable and offered stunning views of the lake, making the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The quality and dedication of the staff, from the lady at the front desk, to the young man who saw after me and especially to the manager, Shiyam Chamilsha. He went over and beyond to address my many requests and regularly checked in with me to see that I was comfortable and whether i needed anything. Any requests/concerns I had were addressed within a couple of minutes. He made sure that he and one of his staff would be available for breakfast if I happened to be needing breakfast earlier than 7am. The grounds are kept very clean, and the pool is really nicely done; it is beautifully lit at night. My room was simple but large and clean, and so was the bathroom. I enjoyed the food there, and they served a good breakfast. Going back to Shiyam, he made sure that I had food that agreed with me and never hesitated in modifying the menu or the dish to fit my special diet. I had to shorten my stay by one day, and he and the front desk had no issue with it. I offered to pay for the night anyway, but they declined. They arranged safe transportation for me to my next stay over, and, later, Shiyam checked that I had arrived well. In short, I do recommend this hotel.

Hotel Siyathma in Polonnaruwa proved to be an excellent choice for our recent trip. The hotel's prime location made exploring the ancient city incredibly convenient. The major viewpoints were just a short distance away, allowing us ample time to immerse ourselves in the rich history and beauty of Polonnaruwa. The hospitality extended by the hotel staff was truly commendable. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm welcome made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the delicious food served at the hotel. From breakfast to dinner, every meal was a culinary delight. The flavors were authentic and the portions were generous. It was clear that great care was taken in preparing each dish. Overall, our experience at Hotel Siyathma was exceptional. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Polonnaruwa.

Fantastic experience at Giritale Hotel. Staff, especially Mr. Thushan, made my family and I feel so welcome. It's not easy traveling with an infant, but at Giritale Hotel we felt like family!

I only stayed one night at this property but it is a beautiful property with great service. It’s first class all the way. Modern rooms, great staff, amazing views and close to safaris and other activities that one may be interested in. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth at the Lavendish Wild Safari!

Everything, wonderful location in nature , wonderful hospitality. The host was able to organize a safari for us where we were collected and returned to the house .

Stayed one night during my vacation and had a fantastic experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Perfect location for exploring Polonnaruwa’s ancient sites. Highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and relaxing stay!

All the facilities are modern and clean. Located in calm and quiet place.

We really appreciated the flexibility of our host, as well as the exceptional location of the accommodation. It turned out very handy. The host also brought us to our next location (Pidurangala), and we saw our first 3 wild elephants on the way, which was super nice.

- a/c and fan is in the room - clean bedroom and toilet - beautiful garden and view - comfortable bed - quiet place - cute cat - you can request lunch and dinner if you like - beautiful and designed building - nearby the Potgul temple (1km away) In overall we really loved the place 10/10. Even though there wasn't wifi (recommend getting a sim card at the airport). Breakfast is simple but for the price of stay it is really good value! I can highly recommend this place!

Good staff and calm environment

Actually this is wonderful. Location is amazing and very calm and quiet. Staff is very friendly and food also very delicious, Thanks for your delicious dinner & breakfast. And room also very clean. so many peacocks and birds are there. it's like a haven. thanks again your valuable treats and you all make my vacation good

Great location for visiting the ancient city. Small clean room, easy to find and check in. Great value for money.

The room was very clean and there was hot water. I had to wash clothes and they were able to accommodate me with soap and the clothesline. Breakfast was delicious.
