The resort has an old-fashioned motel style but is all modernized. The room was a generous space. There was a fridge and a microwave as well as a coffee maker. The heater was easy to operate. Everything in the bathroom worked. The motel was quiet at night. There were lights on both sides of the very comfortable bed! You are right on the bay, and can enjoy water activities, or just walking along the water and watching the bay.

I was surprisingly and delightfully impressed w/the “standards” of this lil North Bay Inn….especially the impeccable attention to detail @ CLEANLINESS!! First @ Foremost, it is VERY centrally located….for business or pleasure…. just off Hwy 101 (Marin County…only several miles to the Golden Gate Bridge @ San Fran on one side….Napa just 30 mins to the North)…Inn situated w/in outskirts of San Rafael area:) off Hwy 580 Ramp. HUGE and extremely comfortable King Rooms are immaculate and CLEAN and tastefully furnished w/detail AND practicality:):) @ all simple amenities one may need/desire. Basically in a business park like area w/a lovely quaint “coffee shop” on corner of property (separate from the Inn)….that opens at 6am!!:):) Just a quick jaunt down side street to San Rafael (Trader Joes, Whole Foods, various gas, grocery, restaurants, businesses, etc:) When I arrived, all carpets in each room had just been thoroughly @ professionally cleaned….I was thrilled!!!! Carpets and Rooms were in terrific shape and spotless!!! (29 July/2024:):) SO IMPRESSED by that in itself being a “clean freak” shall we say:):) Anita (office manager:) greeted me with professionalism @ assertively answered any/and all questions or enquiries I had. She was organized, efficient and very capable and excellent in her management position. Her experienced cleaning staff know how to clean properly and maintain a high standard!!:):)

All of the staff were kind, efficient and helpful. They were able to accommodate my late arrival and even upgraded my room to a suite which was spacious and sparkling clean. It would be ideal for a family Also my room out of view of greenery which was very nice The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of towels and amenities and the location is so convenient to everywhere right off the highway. Plus there's good food That's easy to get to and open 24 hours. It would be a pleasure for me to have the opportunity to spend more time in the golden land with my new home away from home

We stayed here to rest after a full day of hiking in Point Reyes on Thanksgiving morning, and it was exactly what we needed. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and the bathrobes were very comfortable. We really appreciated the spacious suites and the complimentary room upgrade. It was peaceful and quiet, you’d never know the freeway is so close. Lots of shopping nearby. The flowering plants in the courtyard were a lovely touch. So glad we chose this place! 🌿💛

We went on a run along the water and it was awesome. Service was great and our room was comfortable and clean. I have wanted to stay here for a while and I am so glad we did!

Mill Valley is super cute, has tons of great restaurants, cute shops and is very close to many attractions. We stayed here while our child was at summer camp in Fairfax. We did the Dipsea Stairs and Cypress Trail. Also Visited Muir Woods. Mt. Tam is near by as well. We ate and Bungalow 44, the Depot and Omi Kuma. All were great. The Mill Valley in was a great find, they had a great breakfast spread. Fennell and Woander are must visits. Mill Valley's a ton of pedestrian stairways/pathways, that have been restored over the years, you can purchase a map of them at the Depot Bookstore. However, if you wander the neighborhood at all you will just encounter them. Will definitely be back.

San Rafael is easy to navigate and offers beautiful views.

San Rafael is easy to navigate and offers beautiful views. I was there for a yoga and meditation retreat so didn’t explore too much. I did discover the San Francisco Theological Society where my event was in San Anselmo. It’s a beautiful 14-acre sight. If my trip had been longer I would have gone to Point Reyes to catch some whales, so to speak, and to Mill Valley which is close and my dream location for a second home. San Rafael is very close to San Francisco, as well.

Sausalito is a beutiful town with many great places to eat.

Sausalito is a beutiful town with many great places to eat. THe views from the harbor are outstanding, acros the bay to San Francisco and the other bay islands. It's also a great base to vist San Francisco from . You can take the ferry or take an inexpensive bus ride which takes about 40 minutes and has the added avantage of a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge on the way. The bus opeartes every hour throughout the day and the ferry every 2 hours 0700-1800. If you want live music in a friendly bar then the No Name Bar is for you. Great music and a good selection of micro brews. Hotels are rather expensive but this is the same in downtown San Francisco. Highly reccomended.

Tiburon has great views of San Francisco, Angel Island, and the San Francisco and Richardson Bays. It has an excellent supermarket with lots of healthy foods, and it has a good CVS drug store. Tiburon Spa and Yoga provided excellent massage services. There are lots of interesting and scenic stores, especially along Ark Row. It is easily accessible to Sausalito, Corte Madera, and Larkspur Landing.

Nick's Cove the place to be is partly because of the friendly people who work there. We have loved Nick's for several years and it is our go to place to get away, reflect on nature and have delightful food. This trip we just stayed in our lovely cabin, relaxed and enjoyed our view. Although there are very interesting places within driving distance from Nick's we elected to just be there and enjoy. Thank you Nick's.

It's a quaint little quiet town.

It's a quaint little quiet town. Unfortunately there are not enough options for eating. One food truck that has good food but opens when they open and closes by 5. The Breakers, really good food and fun atmosphere, but closed two days a week and not open for breakfast. That left the Parkside. Food was excellent but a little pricey, and it was the only sit-down restaurant to count on. They also have a snack bar and bakery for options, but still all one establishment. It's quite a drive to eat anywhere else. That's my only complaint.
