I really liked the hotel itself, medieval style building with inner patio, calm and quiet, while being on the main street. The hotel itself was very nice, with welcoming staff and a spacious, clean room. We chose to stay there for a concert, initially thinking it was closer to the venue than it actually was. While a taxi was still necessary to get there, the location turned out to be more convenient than staying in the city center , especially when returning after the concert, as the taxi fare was significantly cheaper.

Hotel Isla de La Garena is located in Alcalá de Henares' La Garena commercial district. It offers a spa, free parking, free Wi-Fi and rooms with a private terrace.

La Posada De La Magistral is located in the middle of Alcalá de Henares, a 2-minute walk from Madrid´s gate. This inn offers a terrace. Guests can have a cocktail at the bar.
