Very modern for Japan and lots of space. Incredible view over the bay and area to sit out. Rare in Japan. Nice little beach. Restaurant first class and worthy of a Michelin star in my opinion. Excellent service and staff who Spk a bit of English and try their hardest to help in any way. If you are going to Hokideo this is a fabulous base. Ps you need a car though ! I never leave reviews but this place is special. 12 out of 10 👌👍

The location can not be beat. Our view of the canal was gorgeous and made the stay in Otaru. The room was larger than any we stayed in while in Japan and the lobby was beautiful. Staff were all very friendly despite us being English speaking. If you've ever been an American in Otaru, that can be hard to find. Very walkable to a lot of restaurants. We were sad we could only stay one night, as there were a couple places in the warehouses across the canal we didn't get a chance to check out. I'm sure it's mainly for tourists but if you're having trouble finding a restaurant, we highly recommend walking to Denuki Koji. We had an incredible dinner experience at a tiny Yakitori restaurant there.Theres an onsen at the hotel that I regrettably didn't get a chance to visit but it looks beautiful. Definitely the place to stay if you want to be close to the canal and within walking distance to many historic Otaru spots.

The location was amazing, walking distance to everything; Sapporo Station, Clock tower, TV tower, Niju Fish Market, AOAO aquarium, and Odori Park is right outside the front door. They have parking and the attendant is the nicest man. The onsen was perfect, clean and had everything we needed including great ice cream varieties. They have two sets of washer/dryers and you can use an app to pay. Breakfast was good and the guys welcoming you were always happy.

Just a minute from Otaru station on the JR Hakodate Line, Dormy Inn Premium offers air-conditioned rooms with free internet access, a flat-screen TV and refrigerator.

This hotel is near the Otaru-Chikkō Station.You must make a right turn as you exit the station and get into the mall entrance, which is on the second floor. The mall is open around 10.30 to 22.30. The hotel reception is on the first floor. Find an escalator to the first floor to the hotel. I recommend everyone to stay at this hotel. Buffet is excellent. I and my wife love it. The staff is very friendly. Restaurants and supermarkets are easy to find.

Breakfast and dinner was very fresh, they change the menu depending on your length of stay. The prime rib is definitely something worth going there to try. The hotspring here is the best I've to at this point.
