This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were helpful and attentive, the breakfast buffet was incredible and the onsen was so peaceful and clean. The view from the room was incredible. The location is very convenient as it's right over the station and you can walk to all the main sites.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations after recommendation. The experience was memorable from the start, staff met us right at the entrance to help with luggage and welcomed us with drinks and snacks. The lobby itself is stunning; the lighting and the immediate view of Lake Toya and Mount Usu make everything feel incredibly cozy and comfortable. The biggest highlight has to be the top-floor infinity onsen. Soaking in the open-air bath with that breathtaking view of the lake and mountains was unforgettable, though very cold in winter! The food was also a major plus, with a huge buffet for both dinner and breakfast that covered everything from Western to Japanese dishes, all of them delicious. Since the hotel is right on the lakeside walk, our room faced the water, and waking up to that view was absolutely worth it. I’d definitely go back.

Everything was great, the room is super clean and nicely furnished, with no old furniture or overcharged, just perfect and comfy. There is also a wonderful bar.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Biei, Pension Megumiyuki is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden.

Owners are really kind and helpful. They suggested things to do and what to be careful about, they even helped me about how I could go to Aomori after my stay. I recommend everyone to have breakfast here because those are super delicious. They said some of the ingredients produced by local farmers in Biei and maybe thats part of why they are so delicious. You can also borrow an electrical bike which is really useful if you want to take cycling road to Aoiike.

Of course the view from the property are insane.. The room was simple but very clean and feels like home.. i even sleep more than 10 hours because the room was very comfortable.. the owner was very helpful, eventho the shower are shared but it's very clean and nice.. i misa the owner, they took care of me really well

All I can say is WOW. When I arrived, we were welcomed with smiling faces. Then they brought our luggages to the room while we were checking in. They also gave us welcome cookies, how nice! It wasn't just that - they were so helpful with all our little whims. For example, I brought bulky clothes because it's winter, so I had to vacuum seal all of them in a jumbo plastic bag. I called the front desk to ask for help, 1 minute later, they arrived with a vacuum and helped me seal it. Another special thing to note is their complimentary private onsen!!!! Waaah! It looked very nice. Unfortunately when I booked, I wasn't sick, but I caught colds, so I had to cancel. Their buffet breakfast is also great. A lot of their staff are on working holiday visas, so there's no language barrier here. They're all smiling faces everywhere. Made our stay so much easier and better. The room is SPECTACULAR. It's got a laundry and dryer in one. And if you have more stuff to wash, they have one at the end of the hallway too. Love it. I would come here again.

Very modern for Japan and lots of space. Incredible view over the bay and area to sit out. Rare in Japan. Nice little beach. Restaurant first class and worthy of a Michelin star in my opinion. Excellent service and staff who Spk a bit of English and try their hardest to help in any way. If you are going to Hokideo this is a fabulous base. Ps you need a car though ! I never leave reviews but this place is special. 12 out of 10 👌👍

Fantastic for everything. Location was perfect. Close to the e mountain access and also the town shops and restaurants. It was more lux than the photos show. The onsen was amazing. The chalet shuttle bus was perfect and made everything easy. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We hired our ski gear from the ski concierge and booked a lesson. All terrific.
