CanadaThis was a beautifully restored farmhouse that had been originally been built in 1720. The current owner was the sixth generation and he had spent 15 years renovating. He was obviously a true craftsman and took pride in what he had done. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating and I heartily recommend this tranquil location if you are in the area. There was a grocery store nearby (10 minutes by bike) and we took advantage of the kitchen in order to prepare our meals. There was a vending machine at the property with beer and local wine as well as some local specialties.

The room was spacious and it's location at the edge of town meant that it was quiet. The breakfast was excellent with a huge selection to choose from and the host was very accommodating. All up is was great value for money.

New modern hotel with attentive desk staff and wonderful breakfast, in line with what to expect from a Holiday Inn. Rooms are well equipped and bright and spacious. I booked last minute and rate was low (€100) and included breakfast for two. They have a couple carts to take your luggage to your room and back to your car. Good starting point for a trip into the Black Forest (Schwarzwald). Great value for the money! Did I mention the breakfast...? :)

Rather clean room, late reception efficient and foreseen by the host something we came to appreciate very much as we arrived quite late due to delay of our train, close to 11.30 pm. Breakfast excellent, room service very good, bed rather comfortable and clean. Rather close to the Deutsche Alpen Verein facility of Offenburg!! If you don't want to miss a training session or the casual time of fun bouldering, this is the right place to stay. Don't forget your climbing shoes.

The room was a suite. We paid a bit high, but the spacious place justified the price, with 2 sleeping rooms and a sitting room. Also 2 toilets. The view from the room was great with a view to the mountains. The breakfast was also very varied and healthy.
