Beautiful property in a great location

What a surprising treat! This unassuming little hotel had touches that took it a step above the rest. Each room, we booked five, had a record player in it. There was a treat in each room as well, Walker biscuits, of course. The bathroom was large and well equipped with a very nice shower. We ate both dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Everyone enjoyed their dinner, and the service at the hotel breakfast was amazing. The kids ordered the pancakes and bacon, and I wish I had as well! Delicious! The buffet featured, fresh berries, such a rarity in most hotels.  There is ample parking in the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel and return. Don’t miss out on walking the Speyside river walk across the way and visiting they original Walker shortbread shop, a few doors down

Beautiful and very well maintained house, tastefully decorated. Modern shower, comfy bed. Helpful and friendly hosts. Delicious dinner (need to be preordered) and breakfast.

Beautiful setting, comfortable space with 2 bedrooms/baths and full kitchen & living. Could have stayed comfortably for several days. Owner very responsive. The attached bar was a fun place to meet the locals. Angus, the bartender, was very hospitable, & knowledgable about the flavor profiles of the wide variety of spirits available. We felt very welcome while the locals regaled us with stories of their families and the area’s history. Remember it’s a bar not a pub-they don’t serve food but they can recommend a couple of restaurants. The outdoor seating by the river was an added plus! Definitely worth a visit!

Location was perfect for our stay. It tucked away in a nice garden setting. Secure, clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the heart of Speyside! The accommodation was spotless, quiet and comfortable — the perfect place to relax after exploring the nearby distilleries and countryside. Lou and jan were truly exceptional hosts: warm, welcoming, and full of local tips that made our visit even more special. You can really tell how much care they put into every detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Our four day visit to Aberlour was rewarding and Jenny and Allen generously supported us during our stay. This was our first trip to Scotland . We attended a wedding so a busy time; but we had time to relax and enjoy the sweet cottage for two and we loved walking the area and enjoying beautiful Vistas. The bedroom was quiet, and kitchen was well appointed with anything we needed. Plenty of room and design of restored barn a plus! Gorgeous scenery and outstanding hospitality made this a memorable trip…. Side trip to River Spey in free time enjoyable as well. We loved our stay…

Comfortable home style with full use of kitchen and equipment ie washing machine, ideal stay for workmen if looking for accomodation while working in the area .

Great location, short walk to river path and shops in town. Kitchen was well stocked.
