The room was really comfortable, clean, and spacious. The food was delicious and they had great vegan options - the kitchen were really kind and happy to cater to fussy eaters. The staff were amazing - every single person we interacted with was friendly and helpful and really made our stay even more enjoyable. It was easy to have our dog both in the pub / restaurant and in the room.

The staff were very helpful. My Husband had asked if they could get some flowers and chocolates for when we arrived as it was my birthday. The room was nice and cosy. Breakfast was delicious.

The location is amazing and the views are hard to beat. The quiet and nice hotel really lets you escape and just take a breath. The staff are helpful and nice. The rooms are spacious. The bar and restaurant really help you stay put and enjoy the stay.

Definitely a highlight of our trip. Such a gorgeous place; felt like we were in an episode of Downton Abbey or something. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake, and even though it was cold and rainy, the hotel was cosy, warm and inviting, and set up perfectly for the Christmas period. Lovely staff who made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay there again.

Large apartment. Bathroom beautiful. Very clean & comfortable. Parking at the rear. Brilliant location for walking in Coniston. No car needed. Owners provided Prosecco on NYEve. Nice touch. Owners lovely & friendly. Would book again.

We loved our stay here- the perfect blend of kind attention to detail, warm hosts, good food and relaxed atmosphere. We felt at home while also being well looked after. Lovely countryside location.

Fabulous property close to Coniston in the quieter part of the Lakes. I stayed in the Hideaway, a wonderful building tucked away at the back of the property, modernised to a high standard. Excellent breakfasts and easy access to all parts of the Lakes.

The room was absolutely spotless, and very very comfortable. The owner was very kind and allowed us to check in early, gave us some tips on walking areas around the location and recommended a few restaurants. We only stayed one night, but would have loved to stay longer and enjoy the accommodation and the beautiful area.

Lovely location and lovely place. Had everything we needed. Great for just walking around. Loved the wood burner. Great size for a small family and pet friendly. Would just recommend getting a new double bed since the one there felt loose and was quite noisy. For someone who has light sleep it was quite a challenge, when ever turning or seating it squeaked a lot. Other than that it's all great.

This is a charming, very comfortable accommodation in an idyllic setting. The staff was welcoming and attentive to our needs.
