Located in beautiful countryside. Friendly, accommodating staff, excellent food, good value for money.

No breakfast provided. No towels. Unwalkable roads into and out of location. Leaky moldy tent, no wood heaters, cold and wet inside. Overall bad conditions. Wifi only works in the main house, not any of the outbuildings or tents.

The staff was exceptional. James was delightful, as was everyone we interacted with. No request was too big, and they always went out of their way to meet any and all request. The restaurant was top of the line! The chef prepared our Hereford steaks perfectly. The beds were comfortable. (Kudos for a working towel warmer) The location was walkable to everything in town. Truly wonderful experience.

What a lovely stay! The hosts are amazing, the breakfast was delicious! Afternoon tea was a delight. The location was perfect. Everytime that we needed a recommendation, Libby was so helpful. We wished we could have stayed longer!

The hut was really lovely and well-equipped, and the view across the Herefordshire countryside was amazing.

My daughter and I throughly enjoyed our time at Chestnut Cottage with host Richard. The breakfast he prepared was outstanding! We learned much from him about life in his area of Wales and enjoyed spending time in his very, very old house, to which he has very tastefully added an upstairs to make space for guests. We would gladly return to spend time in this BnB.

The property is absolutely stunning with Victorian Charm and quite a lot of history. Our room was large and inviting with coffee, tea, biscuits, a rain shower, and every amenity you could imagine. Fiona, James, and their pets were as inviting as they come. We felt like family for the evening. The breakfast was divine. Everything about this property blew us away and the price was quite reasonable as well.

Everything. Especially the host. What a nice lady, very kind, humble with so much kindness in her heart. She was so kind with us taking care of everything we ever wanted. She’s the best.

Good traditional B&B at a pub. The breakfast was made to order at the time of our liking. The evening meals are good and you can sit outside in the right weather. The room was well equipped and we were given a fan to help with the unusually hot weather. Altogether very good value for money. Look for the yew tree in the churchyard opposite.

The views were gorgeous, the dog was super friendly and the loft was very comfortable.
