Really friendly staff throughout the hotel. The staff in the dining room were particularly pleasant and attentive. The view from the balcony of our room of the estuary and sea were to die for and from the point of view of interest changed throughout the day.

Restaurant food was excellent & all staff very helpful & friendly. Our room with balcony was very comfortable with good provision of tea/coffee/biscuits etc.; & the estuary views were relaxing. Hotel location with short walk into town was good

Being right on the beach is the most wonderful thing about this hotel. So easy to swim in the sea and the ferry service into Salcombe town leaves from right next door to the hotel where there is also a kayak rental service. It was also lovely to eat out on the terrace overlooking the sea. The food was consistently wonderful and the hotel room was really comfortable.

The hotel is in a superb position overlooking the estuary. It is very well appointed and the condition of rooms and public areas is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. We were pleased to have an upgrade to one of our rooms, both of which had views over the estuary.

We booked a couple of nights having been to The Jetty restaurant and terrace many times. We we given a complimentary upgrade which was very much appreciated and made the stay even better. Service was excellent in the bar and restaurant and on front desk. Steve on the night desk could not have been more helpful. In all the stay exceeded our expectations - it may have helped that the weather was warm and sunny!

Beautiful spacious comfortable room with stunning view of sea and outdoor terrace. Loved decor of hotel, the art, the colours, the carpets. New and clean and stylish. Superking bed so great night's sleep. Loved the deck and loungers round the pond so almost like a private beach for the hotel.

Very spacious, light, clean, quiet, comfortable seating and beds - great ensuite bathrooms for both bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen and the appliances were all straight forward and easy to use.

We were upgraded to a full estuary view room with a great balcony. I loved the complimentary gin and tonic and the fact that someone came round every evening to provide ice/slice. The setting is magnificent.

Centrally located and recently refurbished to a high standard. We loved the garden level open plan kitchen and dining area with its super large rustic dining table and WiFi connected TV on the wall. The Bed rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable too. The bathrooms were lovely with all mod cons. Overall we all agreed we would love to stay again sometime as we only had 1 night as visiting for a party at a local hotel.

Fantastic location within very close walking distance to the shops and restaurants in beautiful Salcombe.
Breakfast was delicious. A great choice of dishes, alongside a variety of pastries, cold meats, cheese and Greek yoghurt.
Staff were very welcoming and we were chuffed to be upgraded to a room with a view of the estuary. I can’t fault the stay in any way. We will return.

We were offered an upgrade at a reduced price. Room one of the best I've ever stayed in here or abroad. Overlooking the sea with lots of room, large walk-in shower, and large double-ended bath in the bedroom.
The receptionist was lovely, very helpful, and professional. Even carried our case to the room. Great breakfast. Will stay again.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The food both at breakfast and dinner was good and very plentiful. Cosy bar with an open fire.
Our room was spacious and warm with light from two large windows that had side views of the sea.
Great location - walkable to Salcombe - takes about 40 minutes.

Staff were exceptional, could not have helped anymore. Breakfast is the best we have ever had, so was our evening meal. Our room had a stunning view of the beach. Rooms are spacious and very clean, the complimentary gin & tonic was a lovely touch.The spa was clean and very quiet early in the morning, pool was a very good size with a hot tub, sauna & steam room.
The gym is also well equipped and surprisingly big. location is perfect just a 35 minute walk to the beautiful village with lots of shops and restaurants.
