United StatesVery comfortable room and warm welcome from the staff who were very accommodating in finding a secure place for our bikes. The rooms we had were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and other necessities. The restaurant was very good and the staff across the board made sure we were comfortable and well fed. The new management team had only been in charge for about a year but i would say they are achieving a very high standard.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting with a view of the sea. It has a friendly feel with nearly all the staff saying hello and smiling. Everyone was keen to answer any queries we had. The bedroom was spacious and clean with a large balcony and chairs to sit and take in the view. The spa facilities are very good, we both had a massage which was expertly done. The food in both the restaurant and the pub was excellent, we will definitely visit again.

Breakfast was a buffet style for cereals, fruit, toast, pastries etc and then the lovely waitress took your order for the cooked breakfast items. Everything was of excellent quality and my son loved the freshly prepared individual fruit salads. Our room was a family room and very spacious.

Great views onto the estuary. The terrace is fab.
It does feel a bit dated and worn in places however we were only staying for 2 nights. It was comfy and we were very happy with our stay. Perfect location for what we needed. Visiting Combeinteignhead and Teignmouth.
The staff were very helpful we had an extra bed added to our room for one of the children this was nice and easy and I was able to do it via booking.com before we arrived.

Excellent stay. Five spacious bedrooms, large well-equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. Two large house bathrooms with excellent showers, plus one en-suite bathroom for one of the bedrooms. Great sea views from the balcony, lounge and three of the bedrooms.
Very good communication from the owner.
Good location a few minutes walk downhill to the centre of Ilfracombe.
Note - The walk back up to the house from the centre of town is pretty steep so may not be suitable for all.

The room was modern and very comfortable. The bathroom was very modern and spacious. A good shower. We had a balcony overlooking the caravan site. It was quiet. A few people sitting outside the bar that was under our room. no problem to us . Breakfast was good. quite a good choice too. We also had dinner in the lovely new bar and entertainment room. Again a good choice for dinner.
All the staff were very friendly.

Hosts Ness and Phil were so very welcoming on our arrival. Our room was ready and we could book in straight away, although they already had said we could park there as early as we liked which was lovely. We had a beautiful spacious room with a view over Lynton. Breakfast was excellent and home made bread, jam and marmalade was a lovely surprise!
A very comfortable stay, in a homely atmosphere, we hope to return sometime soon.

The restaurant food was exceptional, using good quality ingredients and expertly cooked. The staff were very efficient and attentive. Our rooms were upgraded as it was our birthday weekend and the views from the hotel rooms were stunning ( The hotel is situated just mins from Haytor). There's a lot of attention to detail throughout the hotel, down to the shampoo and shower gel provided in the rooms, which were luxurious. We loved our stay and would like to come again!

Lovely family room, balcony with estuary view was beautiful bonus. Tea and coffee things in our room too. It was just great. Perfect location, we would have loved to stay longer. Excellent breakfast and lovely staff.

We enjoyed excellent breakfasts. Our room was wonderful and spacious with far-reaching views. The bed was king-sized and super-comfy. Because of a cancellation our hostess had upgraded us at minimal extra cost. She was very warm and welcoming and clearly enjoyed her business and meeting her guests. We really loved this B&B!

The Farmhouse was excellent in every respect. The upgrade work that had been done to the house was clearly to the highest standard. The kitchen, living rooms., bedrooms, and bathrooms were all superbly appointed. This is spacious, luxury accommodation. The owner was friendly and available. Especially considering that this is part of a working farm, we appreciated being made to feel welcome.

We are getting married here 21st September 2024 so we decided to stay for night we booked budget room coz moneys tight atm we was upgraded to castle suite as good gesture when mentioned was getting married was lovely room and very nice of you to upgrade as really looking forward to wedding there even more now thankyiu so much we will book again as we didn’t have time to use swimming pool etc as we went to walk down in robes as we didn’t bring suitable footwear and was further away then fort so we got changed

When we arrived we had a great welcome and our room had been upgraded to a premium sized king which was spacious, tastefully decorated and overlooked the garden and a beautiful old church. Breakfast was exceptionally good and arrived in a hamper outside our door at the time we had requested. Really good value and delicious granola, yogurt and kiwi with croissant, juice and pot of tea each. The hotel is a short walk from the station and easily accessible to the city center but quiet at night.
