FranceLocation was fabulous, overlooking the estuary with the rising hills dotted with sheep behind the pool house. As a vegan the breakfast was adequate. The bread wasn't great. Used to sourdough not pre sliced white bread. Tofu scramble would have been nice. The tea was good and there was my preferred plant based milk.

Down on my own visiting my family. The ground floor communal rooms are very attractive and nicely decorated. The location overlooking the sea is fantastic. It's a lovely traditional old seaside hotel. Check in was very easy and staff are all really friendly.. There is a huge back garden at the rear so ideal for dogs and children. The private garden at the front of the hotel would make a lovely place to sit in the evening as the sun goes down. My room (a twin) was very spacious.

The breakfast was very good. There was a wide range of cereals, pastries and other items as well as a full English breakfast if required. The bedroom was spacious and had an excellent view of the sea.

Great location. Parking close by. Friendly, welcoming staff.
Our family room was lovely. Spacious and well laid out with plenty of room for 3 adults plus a sofa and large windows overlooking Exmouth . The bathroom was clean and nice soaps, body wash etc were provided.

Saying all that, the gardens and seaview from our upstairs suite was beautiful. The garden is large and pretty.. must have been stunning in its day. Good 2 have the swimming pools, which are Warm and also a jacuzzi. Large 2 bedroom suite with balcony. Impressed with comfort of the beds and large comfortable rooms.

Breakfast was very good.
Dinner menu changes daily. All food cooked perfectly and very enjoyable.

It was in a great location it was nice of the landlady to give me extra snacks for my bedroom including Kit Kat bars And the fact that the room was on the ground floor no stairs to climb And it was good of the landlady for my parking near the Guest House to pay for my two parking permits for my stay

The outdoor pool was fabulous, very clean, beautiful setting and peaceful. The rooms were very dated but clean and very comfy beds with high quality bedlinen and pillows. View from balcony and bedroom windows was lovely. Gardens were tranquil,well maintained and a pleasure to walk around. Only a quick walk through to the seafront too.

Think we were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment rather than the one we booked, nothing was mentioned checking in at the reception on arrival so that was a nice surprise! Lovely view of the garden and sea and the beds were comfy. Using the swimming pool was a good experience very warm and nice to have a jacuzzi too! Breakfast was ample and delicious 😋

The hotel was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were spacious and well furnished. We really liked the coffee machine. The balcony and view were great!

Good location for the event we were attending.
We booked a budget room and had an unexpected upgrade to a suite with sea view on arrival.
Beautiful gardens and we made use of the leisure facilities during our stay. Using the pool, jacuzzi, gym, stream room and snooker room
Furnishings alittle tired and outdated but all clean and tidy and fit for use. Bed was comfy. Nice quiet room Had a fabulous breakfast and evening meal at the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful definately would use this hotel again.
