HungaryI had an amazing stay at Flying Dutchman Hostel in Varanasi. The hostel is very clean, comfortable, and located just a short walk from Assi Ghat, making it perfect for exploring the city. The dorms and rooms are well maintained, the beds are comfortable, and the common areas have a great backpacker vibe.
The staff members are extremely friendly and helpful. They assisted with local recommendations, boat rides, and places to visit around Varanasi. The atmosphere is social and welcoming, making it easy to meet fellow travelers from different countries.
The hostel is peaceful at night, yet close to cafes, ghats, and all the major attractions. The garden area and common spaces create a relaxing environment after a day of exploring the city.
If you are a solo traveler, backpacker, or even a group of friends visiting Varanasi, I highly recommend Flying Dutchman Hostel. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Varanasi.

I liked everything here. The bedroom was spacious and comfy. It was a new, neat and clean property. The room was quiet so I slept very well. The staff couldn't do enough to help you. It was walking distance to a couple of pubs where we had meals. It's only a couple of kms from the major attractions but it's nice to be out of that hustle and bustle. It was an excellent stay. Thank you to Sid and his wonderful team.

Location is good , the hotel was very close to Ganges river , also my room equipped a balcony , so I could see Ganges river on that , Staff was very nice , they ask me like do you need any help ? all the time , it was good to me , I felt like being cared . Also the hotel is running restaurant nearby the hotel . Restaurant is very nice as well . Taste and price were impeccable .
I ate every dinners there .

The hotel is clean, modern and near a mall. The staff is helpfull and friendly. The breakfast is good, all you need to start youre day. You can easily take a rikshaw our taxi in front of the hotel for a reasonable rate to bring you to the temple or ghats. Our room and bathroom was spacious and had a bathtub. For varanasi this is one of the best hotels!

Hotel has fantastic location, near Aarti ceremony and Manikarnika ghat. Very nice food. Nice view from roof terrace on river Hanga. Monkeys came to our balcony, it was so cute. We were happy.
