Beautiful and quiet location outside Clarens. Big spacious house with everything you need, each Bedroom is ensuite. Lots of wood for the lovely fireplace. Would definitely go back for a longer stay.

Breakfast was nice and the restaurant staff friendly and attentive. Great location and easily accessible. beautiful rooms with comfortable beds, fitted with electric blankets. Our rooms never ran out of hot warmer. Water pressure is good. I must commend the host for keeping constant communication, never out of reach when needed.

It’s perfectly located close to the centre of Clarens and within walking distance of all the restaurants.
The room is right close to the mountain so there are spectacular views from the bedroom balcony.

Very warm and friendly welcome from Mpho. Ideally located for visiting our family in Bloemfontein with plentiful secure off street parking. Large modern bedroom with very comfortable bed and full en-suite including large walk-in shower and great hot water pressure. Very clean and comfortable, with crisp linen. Highly recommended.

The house itself is a beautiful Victorian style house with a wrap around balcony. It has a beautiful view of the mountain range and it perfectly situated in the town. The house has a spacious living area as well as a lovely fireplace, perfect for the cold months of the year. The gate's motor was set on manual as it wasn't working however Bianca organised a lock and key for us promptly as requested.

The host was kind and welcoming. She upgraded our room without additional costs. The place was best suitable for winter, with electric blankets and heaters. In addition, the place is located in a safe area. It is highly recommended.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, from reception to the restauarant/ kitchen staff to the staff who covers every car's windshield every night with a blanket to prevent frosting (very nice thing to do!). Family room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Electric warm blankets made the cold winter evenings very comfortable. Breakfsat was quality, with a good selection. Great location

Place was cosy and central with everything we needed. Beautiful views from porch, bedrooms and Heinrich and Bianca went out of their way to accommodate and even upgraded us with no cost after a special request. . Had a wonderful stay and will definitely return

Above all else, it is the value for money on the beautiful room, and the warm homely treatment from the host which made it home away from home for us. Tranquility. I was able to work and finish my deadlines. A definite place for peace of mind.
I loved the modern finishes of my room and also just how spacious it was, I almost felt like I was at a 5 star hotel.
Best host_Franco. In the morning i found out my car battery was dead( forgot to switch off radio), he literally helped pushed my car out for a kick start 😊.
