It’s perfect, simply perfect. The atmosphere is impeccable, the food is amazing, the staff is great. I would go to Aizuwakamatsu by the very troubled winter transport again to stay in this hotel.

Situated in country,out of the city noise, surrounded by the mountains. To enjoy hot spring, it was a perfect place to do so. Staff were all very kind and helpful

Breakfast was very nice. I enjoyed the japanese breakfast with fish; curry, oden with miso soup and rice. The osen would clean and not crowded. The area is great for hiking for all levels. I 76 yrs old...but the hike downhill from the hotel was beautiful. The few shops provide manji and cookies for purchase. The wifi was excellent. The local bus to Nihonmatsu is very cheap.

A 16-minute walk from Kitakata Station in Kitakata, Azuma Ryokan features accommodations with access to a public bath.

cute and clean Ryokan in the center of town. Nice proprietors! Very easy and pleasant stay.
