United StatesProximity to the river, ability to watch wildlife close to the cabin, friendliness of owners, chance to explore Mayan ruins. Philip, who acts as the fishing guide, provided a varied experience that included bushwhacking to a beautiful secluded lake. Day usually began and ended with a home-cooked meal right by the river bank. There is a spring fed swimming pool we didn't take advantage of if the ideas of swimming with the crocodiles in the river doesn't appeal.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I was the only guest during my visit, so I had the whole house to myself:-) Well equipped kitchen, large room, nice bathroom and great host! She even picked me up from bus station, gave great advises, and helped to arrange Lamanai tour. I was 100% happy with my stay.

Own ensuite room set in a cute garden plus a nearby shared kitchen and lounge with a well equiped kitchen and everything worked. Ricky lives on site and runs a shoo next door. Very freindly and knowledgeable and cold beers 5metres away!

Comfy beds ( I slept in a 4 bed dorm), the owner is the nicest person and so helpful with every question you can have. There's coffee in the morning and a kitchen facility that can be used all day. And the custest ever two little dogs!

We were in the single cabina with a/c.....cabins was on the small side but did have a/c and a small refrigerator. Very good separate kitchen, dining and sitting area in a separate building. Ricky was also very helpful in setting up a lamani tour and shuttle to leave. It is well situated 5 minutes from restaurants

The tour we booked through Ricky was awesome.we booked the guide the next day again, the kitchen area could use some TLC . Could use some cleaning and a little organizing. Also the roof top could be an awesome area if cleaned and some relaxing chairs put out for guests to read and chill.
