The cottage was so quiet and comfortable. I felt completely safe there and it was lovely to meet Bridget and Ollie Dog. I couldn't have felt more welcomed. Everything was so clean and I had all the utensils I needed. A lovely big bathroom as well. After a day of VERY WET & MUDDY mountain bike riding in the Forest of Dean, it was wonderful to come back and be able to clean up and relax in such a cosy space. Plenty of room for my car on the drive and directly outside the front door - perfect given the rain we had that weekend! Bridget even said I could bring my e-bike in to charge it up. Nothing felt like a big deal so I was completely relaxed. The directions given before I arrived helped immensely.

The location was perfect, with beautiful scenery around, lots of walking opportunities, and some amazing local pubs. The cottage itself was clean, well stocked and lovely. It had absolutely everything we needed and more. The hosts are friendly and professional and made sure we had everything we needed as well. I would recommend this cottage to everyone!

Breakfast was self-catering which was ideal for me since I don't like fitting with hotel timetables and don't always want a huge cooked meal. Bread, butter, milk and coffee were provided in the annex, along with excellent jams. Refills were no problem for the hosts. The room was very quiet.
