Self-Catering Accommodations in Laugar

It was perfect place to stay middle of ring road. There is laundry room and huge space for kitchen, bathroom, living room for two.

We had a very pleasant stay at Guesthouse Hvítafell. The room was nice, with a comfortable bed that made for a good night’s sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals, which was very convenient. Although we didn’t use it, there’s a hot tub available for guests - a lovely option after a day of exploring. The location is excellent, just a short drive to Geosea, which was a must-visit for us and a real highlight of the area. Overall, a welcoming and practical place to stay while visiting this part of Iceland.

We stayed here in middle of April(still freezing cold and snowy). It was still low season, so we were only one group stayed this place. Very quiet, and they have huge professional kitchen!! Nice and warm and they have little outside bath tab. Everything amazing!! If you are looking for quiet and peaceful place, I totally recommend it.

Staying here was a great experience, it was really nice and super clean with a very pleasant atmosphere. We are also very thankful for the help with our tire. Everything was just as expected. We will definitely be coming back next time while in the area.

Convenient location near route 1 between Husavik and Myvatn. The hosts were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The house is unique, a charming interpretation of the classic Icelandic turf house on the outside with all-modern amenities inside, an ideal combination of traditional and new. This was a favorite stop on my trip!
