Self-Catering Accommodations in Nozawa Onsen

The room was so clean. The host was very nice. Asami came to greet us in person. The place is opposite with an onsen where is very important for us after skiing all day. The check-in process was very convenient with the staff from café nearby. There was a drying room for those who have ski gears and all.

Location was great. Pierre was very helpful and Yutaro, who picked us up from the bus stop was super friendly. We had a wonderful experience

Loved how close it was to everything

Very new property and done up very nicely with modern amenities. We had a 3-room apartment, each room with ensuite bathroom and it was spacious and comfortable. The apartment also came with a micro kitchen and a washer/dryer combo. The staff were also attentive and also helped with restaurant reservations. Location was also great - short walk from Shinden bus station and less than 10mins to the village centre and foot of the mountain (Yu Road).

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this property and were pleasantly surprised by several aspects of our visit. While the photos are accurate, the home feels much more spacious and roomier in person than we initially expected. The location is truly unbeatable. Being in the heart of the city, we were steps away from two of the best Onsen. The home was remarkably quiet and peaceful. It is the best spot for accessing both the ski slopes and local restaurants. The property is meticulously maintained and exceptionally clean. Above all, the hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring we felt well-taken care of throughout our stay. We cannot thank them enough for their hospitality.

Our family loved this house. Great location in town, onsen right across the street. A super nice 500 yen onsen 5 minute walk. We were a family of 5 with an elderly 88 grandmother who had the downstairs bedroom and upstairs there were 2 bedrooms. Yuki our host was great! Our sons went snowboarding and Yuki got them set up with the gear and they stored each day up the by lift. They have the best powder skiing ever! Such a great experience. Mahalo to Yuki-san.

Location and the lovely receptionist, if I am spelling her name correctly, Stack! She helped us a lot with booking our lift tickets, answer all our questions and encouraged us to use the onsen which we didn’t think of doing until her recommendations.

Cozy and spacious at the same time while conveniently located very near onsen. Easy walk to restaurants with food options. Also stocked well enough to be able to cook at home. Summer visit was fantastic!

It actually looks better in reality than in the pictures on booking :) Futons were very comfy.
