The location seems a bit strange at first, but in the morning you can see all the beautiful rice paddies outside! Absolutely stunning and breathtaking. The room itself was spacious enough for two, with good bed and big TV. Staff was attentive, you could buy snacks in the lobby since there are no combinis nearby. We only stayed one night but it seemed like a really nice hotel, even though it’s in the middle of nowhere - but since we were coming by car, it was not a problem.

We enjoyed a lot the huge rooms (compared to other hotels in Japan), the size of the bed and the good quality of the mattress & pillows, the nice decoration, the friendly and English speaking staff, the free parking lot, the pleasant rest area to gather with the family, the great location in Odai. We got the zoo themed room with four beds (not a bunk bed and 2 beds). The kids absolutely loved the decor. It was the largest room we've had in Japan so far with a sleeping area, lounge, kitchen, wardrobe and bathroom. We loved the washing machine and drying function in the bathroom which made it very easy to wash and dry all our clothes. There are no plates or cutlery in the room but the staff are happy to provide disposable ones upon request.

Our stay at Fairfield by Marriott was incredible. The hotel was lovely, and our room was beautiful and so comfy. We booked for 2 nights but decided to extend for 1 more as it was in the perfect area for places we planned to visit, and again, it was just so comfy. The staff were so friendly, especially Enomoto, who helped us and was very kind. We would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Mie!
