Villas in Nesso

Absolutely gorgeous location and a large, well appointed and unique property. It is a converted textile mill right on the water. The rooms are large and comfortable.

It was very comfortable, clean, cute and spacious! They left two small Prosecco bottles for us and there were other wine options in the kitchen. The breakfast was simple, but lots of options and they included pasta and sauce for a quick meal if you needed. Better view than we expected and very responsive hosts.

If you come by ferry, be prepared to climb 250 stairs. But once upstairs, it’s worth it. Location and view from the property is mind blowing. Owner is super helpful and cooperative and she gave us a detailed tour of the house. The house in itself has all facilities. Owner left us some delicious ingredients for pasta. Property had even its own garden. We ate peers 🍐 directly from the garden. 2 grocery stores are closeby. Bus stop is closeby.

The location is very remote and hard to get to without a car. Even our local Uber driver had a hard time getting there. There isn't much to do in Nesso and very limited dining options. The villa has very steep steps to the front door and would not recommend it for elderly or disabled guests. The worst part of the villa is that the hot water cycles out every 1 minute intermittently between hot and cold water. There was no way to take a hot shower. We stayed for 2 nights and couldn't take a shower, which made the stay unacceptable.

This place is truly a hidden gem on Lake Como. I travel a lot, but this stay stands out as one of the most special and energizing experiences I’ve ever had. First of all, the location is exceptional. Just one minute walking distance — and importantly, not via steep stairs (which is very common for most homes around Lake Como), but along a flat, easy road — you reach the transport stop. This makes a huge difference, especially if you have luggage or are traveling with a child. You can also easily park your car very close to the house, which is quite rare for this area. From the same stop, you can get to Como town in about 30 minutes and to Bellagio in roughly the same time. There are also shops very close by: one just a minute away and another within a 5-minute walk, which makes everything very convenient. The house is also located extremely close to the famous waterfall and the river access. Just one minute down the road, and you’ll find a comfortable path leading down to the water — a truly special experience. What makes this place truly unique is its atmosphere. Staying here feels like stepping into an authentic Italian family home from the 1970s — in the best possible way. You don’t just stay here, you feel immersed in the culture, as if you become part of it. The place has a unique energy — you genuinely recharge while being there. Almost every room offers a beautiful view of Lake Como, which is absolutely breathtaking. There are several balconies and terraces where you can relax, enjoy the sun, or watch the stars at night. Despite the house being from the 70s, everything works perfectly: windows, plumbing, heating, hot water — all reliable and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a stove, dishwasher, and coffee machine. The bathroom is another highlight — especially the large bathtub, which is perfect even for tall people. Taking a bath here is a real pleasure.

The hosts, Simone and brother are wonderful, sweet, kind and helpful people. The vi Iew from the property is stunning. The location is convenient to explore surrounding areas. Property is clean and well maintained.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! One of the highlights was the opportunity to enjoy a private garden and beach area owned by the host—an unexpected and truly special experience that made our visit even more memorable. The peaceful setting and added privacy made it feel like a hidden retreat

Our host was very kind, even though we did not speak Italian we communicated very easily, we cooked a dinner one night in the lovely kitchen. It was so nice to get the Italian experience! We loved it. The view was absolutely breathtaking. There’s also a wonderful waterfall that you can see right out in the bedroom windows, we loved loved love that.
