Everything about it was perfect

You’ll find everything you could wish for in a rented apartment. If I could, I’d rate this place an 11, with the extra point undoubtedly going to Lodewyk for his truly amazing attention to guests.

Within 2 minute walking distance of Main Street. The cottage is very comfortable and private. Nicky the owner was in touch if we needed anything. We had a very enjoyable Stay

The hosts were absolutely delightful and so helpful throughout our stay. They own multiple properties in Franschhoek and we ended up moving to one of their other rentals when we extended our stay! The location of this place is topnotch - very close to the main street filled with coffee shops, stores, and restaurants. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was very helpful to have laundry onsite with a clothesline.

Franschhoek is a simply stunning place, and the Pink Door is perfectly located in the center of the town, within easy walking distance of the main area with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. The house was also kept impeccably clean, and well decorated - every room was light and airy, never feeling stuffy. The house has its own herb garden, something that is unique across almost any of my previous stays and really added to the braai we did. All the indoor appliances were clean and modern, with great SMEG appliances and an Aga. The outdoor pool, private to the villa, is also a lovely touch that I can imagine any family would appreciate. And beyond all this, the staff were so welcoming and lovely.

I loved my stay, the owner was friendly and you can tell they paid good attention to detail to make their guests comfortable, prompt in responding to any inquiries. The venue was easily accessible and clean.

It was modern, beautiful, and well equipped. Danai our host was absolutely amazing.

Great location surrounded by mountain views, vineyards and just a short walk to the main street. Facilities were some of the best I’ve experienced and Dion and his wife included a number of lovely touches to make our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location and privacy.

A beautiful setting, house was pleasant and super comfortable. Everything worked and everything was clean.

I cannot rate the breakfast as it was a self-catering villa. The location was great, within close walking distance of the village. The house and garden was beautifully presented and well-equipped for self-catering purposes. The pool was an added benefit.
