this is a magical place. The place is actually better than the photos. The house is right on the walkway between Migome and Tsumago. The owners are such beautiful people and they will drive you wherever you need to get to for free. Truly the highlight of our Japan holiday. We highly highly recommend this place.

Looked exactly like photos, clean, many heaters to keep you warm, complimentary snacks and coffee is a plus, with washer and dryer, amazing view just too bad we unable to enjoy much due to rainy days, i got see swam flew by the lake just infront of the house, chill at veranda is relax. Overall is good experience 😀

Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house is gorgeous and has a beautiful, warm aura about it. The beds were comfortable and the decorations and traditional architecture was a marvel. We felt honored to stay at such a beautiful place. The surrounding town and area was also gorgeous, Mount Fuji is incredible, but what really stood out to us was how incredible our host, Toru san, was to us. He treated us like family and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our trip. He is a wonderful human being and I can’t wait to return and see the house and him and his family again!

The house is very new and clean. It has 2 showers which was exactly what we needed. The 2 bedrooms on the top floor had beds and the tatami room on the ground floor had additional bedding but we didn't need them. Living room was comfortable and location was around 15min drive to central Nagoya. Family Mart and 7-11 are within 5mins walk and there are many restaurants within walking distance. Overall a great place to use as a base when visiting Nagoya.

The tatami mats and Japense futon bedroom setup really helps to immerse you in the culture. There were barbeques both inside and outside with a covered patio. There was plenty of space with a large tub bathroom with shower head. It was a great setup for a vacation. A laundromat and family mart (chain convenience store) were down the road, making it very practical to get things you need.
