Lovely, bright comfortable room, with fridge and kettle. Brilliant bathroom, with heated towel rack, night-lighted mirror, lots of hot water, great shower, and big, fluffy towels. Parking space, too!

What a lovely cottage, couldn't fault a thing. Very peaceful with lovely views over the garden and field with horses in. Great attention to detail, we appreciated the bottle of milk left in the fridge too. Great location with the bus stop only a 5 minute walk and the train station just a 10 minute walk. Enjoyed a wonderful meal locally which was just over a mile away. We liked it so much, we intend to go back next year

The location we wanted was a quick one night stay as near to Burley as possible. Other properties were wanting a minimum of two nights

Great location on the edge of the forest. Bathroom and Kitchen was of a high standard, Beds very comfortable. Highly recommend this property.

Central location , comfy, fresh towels a welcome hot power shower after long walks , modern and full equipped apartment ,very clean presented , WOW🤩 well done a little gem . We love the village of good food for all tastes , on the doorstep to nature walks or cycle paths. Public transport easy access we used local taxi and bus , even village has train station ,bike hire 👍

Easy to locate the property & easy but secure key access.A very comfortable stay with close proximity to all of Brockenhursts pubs/shops etc.We couldn't have asked for more & although contact with the host was via email,all instructions & guidelines were clear,friendly and thoughtful.

I came to Brockenhurst with the hope of cycling the New Forest and some areas of interest on the south coast near Bournemouth. The Apothecary and especially the kind guidance of Rod, the owner, made this an extremely memorable 10 days. The cottage is so comfortable and well equipped; I loved coming "home" at the end of each day. And location, wow! I got up most mornings and walked to the nearby Brockenhurst rail station, where I rented an e-bike from the terrific CycleExperience and rode for miles on old forestry paths. Wonderful! Some days I took the very convenient direct train from Brockenhurst station into London for a concert. This location is far enough from London where you don't get that "communter town" feel, yet close enough where you can get "home" after an evening event. For such a small village, there are a number of terrific amenities -- restaurants, bakeries, grocers, butchers, coffee shops, etc. -- within easy walking distance. I love my time at the Apothecary and was dismayed to see that it's already booked for the week in July when my American friends are coming over. It would have been PERFECT for them. Ah well. Another time, Rod! Thanks very much, and see you again soon!

Location was great! Employees/staff were pleasant helpful and kind Breakfast was exceptional!
