No milk with supplements, had to find a local shop to buy some to have a cup of tea? Very bad management. Outside in the grounds very untidy, rubbish and dirty bedding left outside of some of the rooms when we were looking for a staff member. no staff on the property??

Neat and tidy.
Neat and tidy. Great as a stop over for a wedding in Clevedon. Shower pressure was great. There was parking outside the unit. They accommodated our request to book in a bit earlier as we still had to travel to the wedding that afternoon at 2pm

Note you will have an upstairs bedroom, with the owners downstairs. There is a good shared bathroom and toilet upstairs. Only one other guest when I was there despite it being just before Christmas. This place will be a bit too out of the way for some people despite it being fairly close to Auckland and easy to reach. I love the windy road though the bush. It is a good base for exploring the Hunua Ranges and regional council-owned beaches which are beautiful but little-known. Note there are no shops at all nearby. Best to dine at the property with the owners and pay a little more for that. Breakfast price comes with the room.

The villa had a very nice sea view from the bottom level and the top, there were a few other areas that we did not get to go to although looked very pleasing to stay, the kitchen and eating areas were great. Whitford is not too far from the city centre it is a nice drive. we had a great time and only a short stay but I am sure there are many activities around that would be enjoyable!

High level of cleanliness. Homely environment - we were made to feel welcome. Room was spacious with a huge king size bed and an extra single bed for an extra person or child. Bathroom supplies, clean towels supplied. A full kitchen with normal home appliances. Basic breakfast ingredients were provided, included in the cost plus tea and coffee makings to our disposal. The place is situated approximately, 10-15 mins from the main highway in Bombay. Quiet, warm, clean - just what we needed.

Maeratai was a place we have never been to before.
Maeratai was a place we have never been to before. Plenty of awesome views and nice beach with no waves. We went for a triathlon so it was only a quick visit. Not a heck of a lot to do there otherwise. Would be a nice spot in summer.

The entrance onto the property was a challenge however thank you for the clear instructions on the best and safest way to enter the property The view was stunning from the cabin absolutely quite and peaceful both my wife and I would love to hire the 2 bedroom cabin again but I would appreciate if the cabin had a vacuum cleaner

We had a lovely time catching up with old friends.
We had a lovely time catching up with old friends. Spent the day sailing around Chamberlins Island. Caught 4 decent snapper. The Oysters from Cleveland Oysters are excellent. Such a beautiful, peaceful spot. Weekend traffic wasn't to crazy this time of year.

Friendly helpful locals on two occasions of whom I asked directions. Museum is well worth a visit- trained soldiers there for WW 2.Easy to get around Papakura walking, fairly flat.pleasant parks.Lots of takeaways of brown food, fried chicken and chips etc. Good taxi service. Some rubbish in the gutters- drink cans, papers.Countdown and New World supermarkets. Farmers and Postie plus gives some idea of the size of Papakura

Drury isn't a particularly attractive area and didn't offer much in terms of facilities. Ned's Roasts while a basic Cafe offered a delicious and generous roast meal at a grwat value price.
