I had a lovely peaceful stay at Oorgenoeg. The cottage was really comfortable and I loved soaking in the wood-fired hot tub. The cottage was private and away from it all but just a short drive to conveniences.

It's quiet, peaceful venue.
The room is fitted with remarkable detailed wooden furniture pieces, a reminder of a trip down memory lane. I was stunned! The Hostesses are friendly warm people with an eye for detail. Everything was perfect for Peter and myself.

We were right next to the golf course which was a beautiful...
We were right next to the golf course which was a beautiful setting. Initially we booked to stay for 2 nights but on day two we extended our stay by an extra night. The property was clean, updated and fully equipped and the restaurant was wonderful. We could all feel free to explore the estate, enjoy activities and the time just flew by.

Vredenburg is a busy market town.
Vredenburg is a busy market town. We had a puncture repaired by Hi-Q. They were efficient and friendly. There is an excellent mall which caters for all your needs. Four restaurants were recommended to us by the gentleman who assisted us at Hi-Q; Voorstrand, Blikkies Pizzaria, Waffle Wharf and Seekat. Unfortunately we were not able to try them but are saving them for future reference.

Langebaan is a great holiday destination.
Langebaan is a great holiday destination. Theres quite a bit to keep you busy. Only thing lacking is play areas for toddlers. There's a Waterpark and jump place for older kids but nothing for toddlers around 2 years old. The only play area we found for our daughter was the one at Spur in Langebaan.

Convenient mall close by to pick up groceries, charcoal, wood etc.. We went to the jetty ( close to Mikinos) to take multiple pictures. As usual my wife picked up sea shells. Not interested in the casino ,not into gambling. Many beautiful homes where we were, all different. Don't speed (25 km/hr ) where we stayed (someone received a 3000 R fine for going 50 km/ hr). Expensive homes and building plots according to the locals. ( Millions of Rands).
