Just as advertised. Robin was great.

We didn't have breakfast but it was beautiful and fresh n clean room

Close to train station and to town center. And the room was bright and very clean.

I booked all the rooms for myself and my family, so we had the use of the swimming pool, sauna and hot tub all to ourselves which was great. It is in a prime location right on the beach. The owners Paul & Jack live in the building so we could contact them anytime if we needed. They were very friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are clean & decorated lovely & everyone in my group said their beds were so comfortable. I have booked it another two times this year as I was blown away by this place, especially for having the use of the pool & the hot tub.

Everything went very well, breakfast each day was excellent, they have a special every day which is quite unique. Our hosts were extremely friendly and catered to everything requested.

everything! Margaret is an awesome host, very nice and helpful; the house is lovely and perfectly located by the river and only a few steps away from the station. Room was cosy, the duvet was like wrapping a cloud around my body. Breakfast cooked to perfection. I should have booked a longer stay.

Sarah couldn’t have been nicer. The room was large with a comfortable big bed and very colorful. Breakfast was served on a trolly with numerous delicious options.

I booked accommodation here as a one-night stopover before heading home, but I found that everything of The Roxburgh was superb. Location ; it was not far from city center, it was located in residential area with very beautiful and tranquil atmosphere. there was only small walking path separate the hotel from the beach. The room ; I was in triple room with the street view but there were windows in the hallway facing to the beach. The hotel and its room were decorated in cute, beach-inspired theme that feels cozy and relaxing. The bed is very comfortable. The room came with fully stocked with tea, coffee and plenty of snacks. Staff ; The staff were excellent—helpful, attentive, and very informative. They provided clear and detailed advice, whether it was about the accommodation, local attractions, or restaurants in town. ฺBreakfast ; The breakfast was excellent—plentiful, tasty, and offered a wide variety of choices. The quality far exceeded expectations. The Roxburgh won't just be my stopover anymore, it becomes my new destination.

Delicious breakfast and the hosts are wonderful

Steve and Paula were very welcoming and relaxed hosts. Breakfasts were excellent with a very varied menu to choose from. Room was spacious and comfortable. Hosts were very knowledgable of the local area and gave great advice on places to visit.

This is a wonderful place for people who like to stay somewhere with character. It's an early Victorian house, decorated with antique prints and stunning family portraits. Breakfast is served in the owners' vast library. Ideal for history buffs.

I stayed for one night on a motorcycle trip to the North coast of Scotland. Lovely village pub, lovely room, friendly locals, great food and fantastic staff. I absolutely loved the Fishers Arms. Thanks to everyone there 😀
