United StatesThis laid-back B&B is located in a spectacular setting in the countryside outside Talyllyn. Our accommodations were altogether comfortable, relaxing and peaceful. Our host, Richard, a fascinating and adventurous fellow reminiscent of a character out of a Rudyard Kipling story, went out of his way to attend to our needs. He cooked us a fine English breakfast every morning, and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests at the large communal table. When we asked for guidance regarding a walk, Richard suggested trekking up a nearby hill in the Brecon Beacons. After climbing to the summit to get the 360-degree view of the surrounding peaks and valleys, we came away with a feeling of having achieved something special. Later we again took Richard’s suggestion and dined at a superb Indian restaurant in the town of Brecon, about ten minutes away. He and his wife Surinder are most gracious hosts with a gorgeous property, and should we be in the area in the future, we would happily return to this lovely place without hesitation.

Great location, very comfortable, easy secure parking for motorcycles, very motorcycle friendly. Very comfortable beds, quiet location but a few minutes walk to the heart of town. The 'star of the show' is Gail the host who greets you with a warm smile every day and made our stay so enjoyable. Gail is also a great cook and puts together a delicious breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble.
