There's good... and then there's really GOOD! Tigh an Fhearainn B&B exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived until we left. From a great view to an exceptional breakfast, we were most impressed by every aspect of our stay. While we were travelling the North Coast 500 and only stayed one night, had we known the quality of this B&B, we would have booked extra nights. Lizzie is an outstanding and caring host.

Valleyview House enjoys a location in Thurso, 14 miles from Sinclair's Bay and 10 miles from The Castle Gardens of Mey.

It was a beautiful home, decorated with so much thought and care. It was quiet and felt so homey. We purchased breakfast which was lovely and filling. The dining room looks out onto a gorgeous garden

Everything. Fantastic down to earth man who runs it. Clean. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Great breakfast Amazing location/ view Over looking Dunnet Head. Just stunning. And got it's own private little bit of beach 😁

All great. Center of the town, small hotel, nice and friendly staff. Bar / restaurant downstairs and some other food places are around the corner

The last hotel on highway A9, The Ferry Inn at Scrabster is newly renovated and has wonderful sea views. Just north of Thurso, Scrabster Harbor is the gateway to the Orkney Islands.

Location was great to get on the Ferry first thing next morning. Dinner in restaurant of hotel was great. Would stay again.

Wonderful service and excellent bed…so quiet it was great! And would recommend this place over and over! Lovely and walkable to all of Thurso and across the street from Coop Grocery. Additional was great restaurant attached - The Grill at YNot - excellent service and delicious food.

This was a delightful overnight. Richard and Jane were wonderful, friendly and accommodating hosts! The rooms were very comfortable, clean and well thought out with the traveler in mind. They had nice suitcase stands, shelving in the main room for personal belongings and a place to hang our jackets. The bathroom was a nice size with a set of shelves in the corner for our supplies and the lighting was fantastic! They also had adequate storage in the shower for our travel supplies. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of options. It was delicious and well presented. We highly recommend this B&B.
