The host, Kaiji, very helpful and solid enough English comprehension and communication. In the nearby countryside , less than 30 min by car/ 1hr bus , to Nagano Sta, Zenkoji temple. Breakfast was delicious and unexpected . An affordable option to impersonal business hotels in Nagano

Perfect place if you want to escape from city life. Clean, quiet and warm. Our pets was very happy having so big space for them inside and a little garden outside! We came in begging of January. The owner made sure we will feel warm inside the house putting gas and electric heaters in all rooms, including bathroom and toilet ( that is very rare for this kind of traditional Japanese house).

The location was a few minutes walk to Togakushi-Jinja, and 6 minutes from Togakushi Shrine Okusha (Main Shrine) The Great Torii Gate. Friendly staff with newly renovated property. The owner gave me an amazing recommendation to eat at the Nagano Forest Village.
