10/10 Amazing guesthouse with 3 private onsens, clean kitchen facilities, great coffee and delicious bagels. Bring some eggs and avocado and you can make an amazing brunch. The fresh coffee was also so good. The onsen reservation system is simple and well organized - with plenty of time slots for everyone. The staff were friendly, and the spaces were clean and cozy. We also loved the eco-friendly approach, the privacy of the onsens and the location - easy parking and close to great hiking trails. Would definitely visit again!

Opened in August 2012, B&B Hotel Hyochoan offers simple Western-style accommodations. Free in-room WiFi is available and guests can enjoy bird watching from the property’s terrace.

Our hosts were a lovely couple who took the time to make us feel extremely welcome. The care and attention to detail were beyond anything we have experienced previously. The Japanese breakfast was exquisitely presented. The building was beautiful, and the surround gardens were tranquil with lots of bird sounds. We will definitely choose to stay here again.

The owners are so nice, super kind. I wish I stayed there a bit longer. Everything was comfortable and clean. They had breakfast included, and also toaster, coffee machine in the kitchen. They also have cafe. They even prepared snacks for us🥹

One of the best memories I’ve had in Japan. The place was super nice and cozy it felt just like home. The people running this place were very wholesome and helpful. The place is spotless clean. The breakfast was very delicious. A great getaway to relax and escape the city. My only regret is not staying longer. Will definitely be visiting again. 1000/10
